VR has two uses.

Anything else and the technology is not going to be affordable to the demographics of consumers that most companies are marketing towards.

AxonVR is something that might make the ideal of VR work in settings where walking around is necessary, but that's likely to cost a few thousand dollars at least.

VR definitely has a future in areas such as medical training. It just doesn't have a future in video games.
