An entry-level model has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while a more expensive Smach Z Pro with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is also in development. The Smach S Pro also has a front-facing camera and 4G support.
Both models have microSD card slots for additional storage.
The Smach Z has four gaming buttons, four trigger buttons, two action buttons, two touch pads, and a joystick. But the touch surface also support “Magic Z-Pads” which let you customize controls by putting classic D-pads or buttons on top of the touch surfaces.

>Track pads
Fuck I hate my steam controller for that, all it needed was analogs and a dpad instead. Also Bluetooth.
Gyro is godtier though
>>383178736
it needed to remove the analog stick and replace it with a d-pad, as the original design was
analog is over

Anon plz
On topic though, I would buy it if Valve officially supported it.
>>383178605
God I hope the Switch 2 has those Steam pad things in lieu of joysticks.
>>383178006
I'll buy any handheld.
>>383178006
Maybe for emulators and piracy.

>4gb ram
lel
No. Cause a computer in superior in every way. It's the same reason I hate using cellphones for anything that isn't quick research for when I'm not by a PC.

>A Darkest Dungeon handheld system
If it seamlessly linked with my steam saves and the specs were decent I could see myself dropping 300-400 burgerbux on it.
>>383178006
hell no, that thing probably doesn't even have enough power to run 20 year old games like baldur's gate
>>383178006
I assume it's just a glorified steamlink with integrated controller and screen? Probably if it was cheap enough and the screen was oled.
>>383178006
How big is the screen? Because it looks stupidly huge for a handheld.
And no, since I can emulate games on my phone and the GPD Win looks like the better windows handheld.
>>383179984
Based on an AMD SOC last I heard, running SteamOS, and using the excellent open source AMD drivers.
>>383180273
Assuming the trackpads are the same size as the steam controller, 3 and a half to 4 by 2, 2 and a half roughly.
>>383180509
Yea, fuck that. Would probably lagg fucking Isaac
>>383179025
Such as the Steam controller
>>383178605
>“Magic Z-Pads”
That actually sound pretty cool.
>>383180273
Steam Controller trackpad is 4cm exactly in diameter. Screen is about 3½ the size of the trackpad so I'd say 14cm horizontally.
You can google that for burger measurements if you have the need.
>>383180509
uses windows 10 too as it's free for small devices
>>383178237
I never bring my laptop anywhere, it's a pain in the ass.
>>383178006
I'd like to, but is the GPD WIN any good? That already exists. Might be chinkshit though. I just really like handhelds.
>>383181147
Yeah, I'd rather have the lower overhead of Linux for such a small devide.
>>383181872
well, probably nothing stops you from installing both,
>>383178006
Too many hard limits on this kind of tech. PC-level performance can't be crunched into a handheld, it's impossible and stupid. It would have to contain thousands of dollars worth of components to be satisfactory. If you really depend on PC-level graphics on a small device, you need a solid low latency internet connection and a good game streaming service. Sucks that we can't have fast internet all the time.
>>383183068
it's using a laptop AMD APU, you shouldn't ecpect to play the latest games on ultra but you can do decent things,a older games shoul play parfectly.
>>383178006
>gaming on Intel Atom
yeah fuck that
>>383184452
it's meant for streaming
