Disabled Vets is a pretty good place for cheap but also it's lacking. It's also unorganized so you'd have to look in CD and DVD sections to find the games misplaced. Some independent thrifts stores are okay and some are marked up even worse than Goodwill or SA. You just have to look.

As a person that has lived in multiple nations East & West the reason someone can have all that he has and still be poor is because of low cost of certain goods unique to that nation, for example video games cost a fortune in certain nations making them inaccessible with the same level of income but their food or tvs may still be cheap, hell the Japanese pay hundreds of dollars just for some blue-ray episodes while we pay 30 bux for a full season.

Outside of that I got the English Saturn Bomberman for 15 dollars or so before smartphones, come to find out it goes for several hundred dollars on ebay now

Found an original PlayStation for $15 and a PS move motion controller for $1 at goodwill.

Never found a single decent video game deal at Goodwill and I go quite often. My house is decorated with picture frames, photos and lambs all from there.

The few instances where I have found decent video games, like LoZ on the Gamecube, taking the case up to the front desk and I'm told the game isn't in the spot and it was likely stolen.

Shit happened three times. Lil old lady probably can't figure out a computer well enough to sell on ebay herself, but somebody has to there.

Back when I used to live in Hawaii, there was a used book store at the Pearlridge Mall called Book-Off that had a surprisingly good selection of PS2 games, the vast majority of which were 5 bucks a pop.

I should have gotten more than I did.

The fuck it is worse. The salvation army is one if americas oldest charities that actually does good deeds. A homeless person can walk into a salvation army and leave 5 minutes later with a couple pairs of clothes, a weeks worth of food, and water. That same persor sure as fuck couldnt go to goodwill and get that. Most (not all) salvation armys also let the homeless sleep in the basements of local sponsered churches as well.
Fuck good will, fuck most charities in general. But the salvation army is good, does good, and is a good orginization.
