I think they said all the DLC will come out in themed batches, like Finn and Phasma for Last Jedi. Probably a Republic pack with Obi-Wan, maybe Anakin (hard to say if they want him AND Vader), and if not Ani I could see them adding Ashoka.

I think they'll probably do 1 hero, 1 villain when adding stuff though. If they stick to movies that pretty much only leaves Dooku alongside Obi-Wan.

If they are willing to branch out to TV I think Ashoka is a lock, though probably the Rebels incarnation. I don't really know what villain they'd use there, probably Thrawn? They are putting elements of these shows into the movies now, and those are two widely loved characters. The hard part there would be DICE having to actually do work to create a photo realistic version of two animated characters, when everyone else is from live action movies.

Sega was on the verge of dying for a few years and realized something needed to change. EA's never really been put in that position. The closest they got to changing was when they went out of their way to try and branch out, which lead to Mirror's Edge and Dead Space, but they eventually gave up. Now I think the only decent thing they do as a company is whatever program that A Way Out is coming from.

I mean, just look at them as a whole. Since last generation they've forced microtransactions on almost every big game they make. All the sports games have them, Mass Effect Andromeda, Dragon Age Inquisition, Mass Effect 3, Dead Space 3. Specifically with DICE, Battlefield has them alongside paid map packs, and the Garden Warfare games has them too. Battlefront 1 got away without them by having a FIFTY dollar season pass.

The only passable one is Titanfall 2 since those are cosmetic only.

90% of the maps from Battlefront 2 had this problem. It is the exact same thing. Darth Vader didnt dueling Solo on Endor or Luke on Tatooine.

Darth Maul was not fighting for the confederacy during the Clone Wars. Jango was dead by the battle of Kashyyyk. etc.
