I'm not sure, I know there isn't anything more or less to these characters than ones from previous Zelda games, but they still ring hollow to me. Maybe it's because they're all already dead, maybe it's because they're all leaning harder on shitty modern anime tropes, maybe it's because they're all so derivative of previous supporting characters. Probably a mix of all those reasons. I just don't like any of them. It's missing that magic somehow.
