I would be willing to stop buying games completely until they bring them back if I could get others to go along with it. I went back and read the original Crash manual since this didn't come with one and it has so much extra information in it. Character backgrounds and even a summary of all the early levels. Even if they include a digital manual they tend to be lacking compared to old games. PS4 digital manuals are a pain to read in their browser and I've seen a Nintendo manual that was nothing but the legal information.

Loading is kind of getting on my nerves a bit. Even on Pro it's still irksome especially if you're dying a lot. Although I think I'm more annoyed at that 30 second or whatever bullshit Activision/Crash animation when you first boot up the game that is unskippable. Seriously what the fuck is with that? Nah, I never played crash but the dpad feels more precise for things besides really small distance jumps.
The stick feels kinda slippery.

This game made me realize I fucking hate platformers. Wasn't good at them as a kid and decades of the genre being practically dead didn't make me any better at them as an adult. It's a good remaster, the developers did the best they could to remake these games, it's just this game makes me BLOODY ANGRY and I shouldn't have let the hype make me waste $40.

Speaking as a first time Crash player, is there a bit of a jump in difficulty going from Hog Wild to Native Fortress?

Get the Aku Aku at the beginning it's essential, you'll need to keep it all the way until the three fires. Just take the hit there for a quicker time and move on. Also it's faster to jump immediately off the blocks instead of having one bounce. You won't miss the next block even if you think you will.

To people really find those bridge levels in Crash 1 hard? They made the shadow float in the air which makes it easy a fuck. If the shadow didn't appear then it might be kind of hard, but people really shouldn't have any difficulty since it's there.
