Funny enough, started running because got a treadmill for free. I don't know if i am doing it right, but trying to run everyday for at least an hour, fucking sweating during this season is hell.

Sometimes I forget to stop and end up going 20-30 miles a session.

I would think ubi games would be tough though since you have to keep a modicum of concentration on your pace which is why I like sandboxers, platformers, and VNs so I don't fuck my mph up with too much thinking.

I don't bring my Switch to the gym. Because if I would somehow damage or lose it, it'd be a bitch to get another one.

Most people here live on a chair or couch. Doing cardio gets the CARDIOVASCULAR system working. It gets your lungs and muscles working, which were not being used before. It gets blood circulating and oxygen circulating to your organs and muscles, where normally they would not be getting much of either.

Nobody here is looking to turn into a pretendo meat head. Just keeping their system active.

When your heart beats, you use calories. When your diaphragm expands, you use calories. Every movement requires energy.
So yes, you do use your cardiovascular system everyday, just by existing.
The point is to increase how much you are using it, thus increasing the amount of calories being used. When you combine this with a reduction in caloric intake, you end up burning through the fat stored in your body.
Eventually, you'll start losing weight.

the best thing to take from /fit/ memes, pretty much the scientific basis they dont understand that the memes stem from, is that weightlifting increases muscle mass, increasing you BMR, meaning that when you sit on your ass and play video games, you're passively burning more calories than you would have without the muscle mass and increased BMR. it works well in conjunction with cardio, but that isnt a /fit/ meme
