A very straightforward example is Bethesda. This year they are release Prey, Wolfenstein 2 and TheEvilWithin2 for every system... except the Switch. What does the Switch get instead?... a 6 year old game called Skyrim with Zelda Amiibo DLC.

Nah, treehouse is now working with developers to speed up localization so there aren't 6 month gaps anymore. Basically it means that the developer comes up with something, and if treehouse has a problem with it they point out how western markets might be against it, and the developer comes up with a new compromise.
What we're seeing is her final version. It's possible that her original version was more revealing, or maybe they were just okay with this one from the get go, or that Monosoft didn't want to make any changes to her in spite of suggestions.

Basically the situation is still shitty, but it's a LOT less shitty than it was, because developers aren't forced to censor anything, and if they decide to do so, they're the ones that get to choose how it's done not treehouse. That's why, even if it was revealed Pyra is a censored version of her former self, she still looks sexy as fuck. As opposed to Lyn's completely butchered outfits which were actually designed by treehouse themselves as opposed to Monolith Soft (also why the western version took like 6 months, because treehouse is dogshit at coding / texturing and it took them ages to do what monolith soft would have done in a tenth of the time)
