To be quite honest most FUbabbies I know hate MHWorld, but also some fans that have been playing since MH1, one of the mh1 fans I know said he wanted a reason to drop MH, and World was a good reason, dunno why he didnt with with Gen/XX doe

I hate all of the Monster Hunter games. I haven't seen this one so I can't say I hate it as well, but if word on the street is it's "casualized for Westerners" I can't imagine it being much of an improvement. I really have no idea how anyone can spend 200+ hours lugging around a chunk of metal across a nature landscape, killing a wild animal, and repeating it ad infinitum. It has a social aspect so it can't be autism.

I wonder what MHW is actually gonna be like. the only gameplay we've seen is a heavily rehearsed run that is designed to show off the new mechanics and probably isn't anything like how your average hunt will go

you create a room or join an existing one and up to 4 people can join, chat outside of a quest works normal, once inside one you can only use short messages that you can edit outside of a quest

The reveal made me think it was Turok or some Far Cry Primal spinoff. It was a bad idea to reveal Monster Hunter World in some generic Uncharted forest/jungle. I heard nothing but good things about MH, but nevertheless it was a bad first impression.

MH bros convince me that it's not an overrated bland kill monster in jungle game so that I give it a second thought to buying it.
