If you disagree, you never spoke to the millions of Chinese boys who's life revolves around keeping track of other fat Chinese boys playing computer games.

I knew a beta who spent 40 hours a week playing that game in high school.

He was getting shit grades.
He didn't have a GF.
He talked to me and three other people at most.
He probably had autism.

It was the only thing that let him feel superior to people.
It also red pilled me on how shitty betas are when they start to feel superior to people.

What do you want to achieve?
How will you achieve your goals?

A lot of people that played BW were highly intelligent and when their e-sports careers were done they moved on to other, more fulfilling and profitable endeavors.
A lot of old western pros started doing poker and winning big at tournaments or got enrolled in some of the best universities in STEM degrees like Idra that went for a physics degree I think in Berkeley.
Nowadays most LoL "pros" look like chubby highschool dropouts so I really don't know what they do/will do when their career ends

I never understood this mentality.

Sure, for a brief few months I thought I could go pro and make money if I invested all my time into the game, but never once did I think of spending money to get there. Game knowledge and skill determine that, not money. I bought a few skins here and there, but that was because I wanted them.

I have no remorse for people who got "tricked" into spending money on the game for anything. But I guess I should thank them for supporting a game I enjoy.
