I have not played any of these games.

Can somebody explain to me the difference between Metro and say, Fallout or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for example?

Aren't there some Metro spin-off novels set in America where they live along railroads instead of in Metros? There was a big Train in the trailer, so maybe this is based off one of those.

Metro is more like Half Life 2 than the semi guided open world of fallout.

I am so happy.
I am also so scared.

2033 and Last Light worked so well because they were linear and had a decent narrative, everything was tightly controlled. Open world might not be the best for it but I'm cautiously optimistic.

They also need to improve the gunplay, 2033 and Last Light didn't necessarily have bad gunplay but it never flowed quite well for an FPS.

The devs have been avoiding questions about OS requirements.

I feel like most of the interesting games to come out this E3 are sequels to games I haven't played.

Assassin's Creed Origins - haven't played most of the titles 2 and beyond, and sure as hell won't start Origins unless I've played the rest.

Life is Strange 2 - still have yet to play the first.

Ori 2 - haven't played Ori 1.

Metro Exodus - haven't played Last Light.

Oh well at least I have A Way Out and Call of Cthulhu to look forward to.
