>What is this?
Computer-controlled MSPaint cockfights.
>How do I make a Vermin?
Draw a monster with up to 3 forms in MSPaint, then distribute points between the five pictured stats as such:
-Evo 1 Vermin are allowed 13 points
-Evo 2 Vermin are allowed 16 points and an ability, or 20 points and no ability.
-Evo 3 Vermin are allowed 20 points and an ability, or 25 points and no ability.
>What kind of ability can I make?
Evolved Vermin are also allowed a special ability of your choosing, to be balanced at the discretion of the host. Complicated abilities may be retooled entirely for the sake of keeping the tournament running on-schedule.
If you choose not to use all of your stat points, a Vermin will be compensated automatically by the game engine with a random ability or a boost to their existing ability (effective up to 5 missing points).

I'm not sure what kind of turnout we'll have during E3, but a tournament was promised and so a tournament we'll have.
v1.02 Patch Notes:
>Vermin with 0 MUSCLE and 0 BLAST will now belt out extremely weak (single digit) attacks instead of skipping their turn entirely. This is unlikely to turn the battle in your favor, but at least you won't feel cheated out of an attack.

It is more that it 'disarms' the enemy from doing strong blast attacks. Basically it counters blast-focused 'mins, at the cost of doing nothing against more balanced 'mins and muscle-focused ones. And as well, if they can't do blast attacks, they're 100% certain to do muscle attacks.

There's no actual limit to how many abilities a Vermin can have, although the display won't show more than 3. You could theoretically have a Vermin with 50 abilites, each balanced to to have a 1% proc rate or something like that, but in practice I'd have to disregard such an entry.
A lot of Anons come up with creative abilities that require coding something new, but things that can be easily modified as is include:
>HP regeneration over time
>chance to inflict DoT/burn effects when hit/or when landing a hit
>stun effects that cause the opponent to miss a turn
>stat increases/HP recovery at low HP
>stat increases on a dodge
>stat increases when hit
>resistance to MUSCLE/GUARD
>increased critical hit chance
>resistance to critical hits
>increased dodge and accuracy
>stun/poison/burn immunity
>attacks that drain HP from the enemy
>nullifying or copying the opponent's ability
>putting an instant death countdown on the opponent
>other stuff I know I'm forgetting

If for some reason I overlooked any other Vermin, now would be the time to point it out.
Sorry to those of you who didn't get in, I only have the weekend free so a 64-man tournament is impossible. On the bright side, next weekend will be 3v3s, so we'll realistically be able to fit at least 48 Vermin and hopefully that'll be enough room for more people to have fun.
