Part of it is just anticipating them. If there are particular attacks you have trouble reading try to remember them and go into practice mode and set the AI to repeat that move over and over again. Keep blocking it from standing until you develop the instinct for it. Also learn which launcher you want to use when you get it and use it. Don't even worry about using a combo to go with it. Just block it and punish it over and over and over forever until you can do it in your sleep. The second that block hits your hands should work on their own.

From there just work out an easy combo you can do 100% of the time. If you do these things you'll be better than most of the players out there.

But really fighting games are hard man, just stick with it.

You can also break grapples. In older Tekken games: If left hand stretches press the left punch button, press the right punch button when the right arm stretches. Press both punches if both arms stretch out.

It was dumbed down in Tekken 7 so you only have to use one punch button to break left or right grapples while other grapples still need a specific button or button combination. Just google it next time.

Tekken 7 is literally the exact same game as Tekken Tag 2, but with half the characters, half the modes, less customisation and shittier story and CG cutscenes with minimally improved graphics.

I literally do not see why this game was even made. Tag 2 in superior to it in everyway. I don't even get how people are praising it. It even plays worse with more input delay from what I've noticed. Hair models and textures on all characters also worse than Tag 2 for some reason.

Unreal Engine literally cannot into alpha/transparency properly. I have no idea why. Nip dev's probably got halfway through development before realizing they made a huge mistake picking that engine.
The way alpha works in unreal is you either get jaggy cutouts, or weird celephane transparent hair. You don't get true proper high quality alpha like crytek/naughty dog etc engines. It literally does alpha no better than Unreal (the fucking first game) did in the 90's.

Depends on what you want from a fighter. Katarina is a bit of a brawler and relies heavily on 50/50s whereas Jin is more for the patient and plays off the counter pretty well. He is kind of fun too.

I've been looking at getting Tekken 7 or Guilty Gear Xrd on steam.
