I fucking loved Gran Turismo 3.

Its been mediocre since 3, games take literally an entire console gen to be finished then end up having nowhere near enough content to justify the massive delays the games have.

I'm a huge fan of Gran Turismo. It's a shame the series hasn't progressed since 4. Seriously, what the fuck is Polyphony doing? The constellations on the fucking map? Going on the fucking moon? This enrages me so much. Just focus on the game and not this trivial nonsense.

I think they're upgrading their physical engine because PCars show a better engine than the one of GT.

I enjoy them but 5 and 6 were definitely not up to the quality of the first four games. 2 and 3 are my favorites. I hate many of the smaller changes the newer games made, like paint chips and rotating used car availability. The way the games are structured in general has gotten worse. And of course the standard model bullshit was inexcusable.

Sport seems like it might be okay but I am not expecting it to match the first four games.

Horrible physics and AI, but worth playing for the car collecting alone. If it wasn't for GT I wouldn't be in to simracing and cars today so I can thank it for that.

Ive never played Gran Turismo but I parrot that the last PS2 one was the best one because I try to be as Anti-Sony as possible in everything I do.

I used to back in the PS1/PS2 days. The last good GT game was GT3, after that the franchise got outclassed by Forza and others.

Modern GT games feel too sterile and have no personality. They're like hospitals with cars in them.

GT5 set my expectations so high I dropped the series when it was finally released. Realized it was better to play games that actually came out rather than being blueballed by PD constantly for a maybe just as good simcade experience.

I personally think Forza is better than Gran Turismo

Gran Turismo really feels like some sort of videogame time capsule. Like they are still making PS2 games, just with slightly better graphics.
Gran Turismo 5 might be the best example of what was wrong with Sony during the first few years of the PS3.
