Going to lay down some knowledge for all the casual players and idiots who don't know what they're talking about.

1) Take any and all media you see like a grain of salt. There was a disclaimer before the live letter started that numbers weren't final, tooltips weren't accurate, and that healing/damage numbers were still being adjusted.

2) On the subject of WHM, Thin Air is a godsend. It allows for burst atop with PoM. The loss of Piety as a primary stat is a weird change but WHM *will* be stacking crit (something they were already doing anyway with Determination being nerfed) so it's not like it matters anyway.

3) People often forget that "utility" is also a fancy way of saying "other stuff to do besides your job". If WHM is powerful enough, people really aren't going to care about the utility as much as some think they will. It's funny because which DPS classes are high utility? MCH, NIN, and BRD. Which classes get the most shit? MCH, NIN, and BRD.

4) Reality is, people care about the numbers first, utility second. The groups most likely to demand utility are the ones that can't do decent DPS on their own. Said groups are also the same people who need the healers with bigger numbers to keep them alive.

5) WHM got the least amount of changes, but the problem wasn't that we were lacking in abilities to begin with.

Having proc shit is a bad idea with a main mechanic. This is balance by said proc being REALLY good, so AST got away just fine. WHM procs are both viewed as underwhelming since Cure/Cure 2 is hardly used if you are a decent WHM and the actual effects are weak.

- Lilies reduce CD's on abilities that are generally timed with mechanics
- Lilies don't give a passive bonus to potentially weight the option of keeping it prior to using it
- If you have to use a CD unknowingly or the stacks are not built up before the mechanic you'd use them for, lol.
- Devine Bension is a OK shield but costs all Lilies to do and does not increase effect based on Lilies

The other new proc buff is also garbage because its a proc. The buff stack mechanic that can be used for a heal would be cute if I ever used Cure 1/2 to heal other people. Now if I do, there is a CHANCE I would get a useful proc. Also that new proc is not even tracked with the new UI, making things even more god damn odd.

The raid meta would have to be changed to require the use of Cure/Cure 2 and have these changes make some more sense, but the proc would still be a stupid fucking issue.

how the fuck can people stand playing frontlines enough to get the ball mounts? It's literally just watching melee dps and tanks throw every game by running into 20 people by themselves and LOSing the healers. Nobody has any idea of how repositioning works and just stands around until they die

To be fair in most raid situations you never actually used DE in the first place. So with SF being a 1-2-3 really the only thing we're losing out on is Mutilate, and to make up for that we have a bar and a couple more oGCD's to keep track of which gets even more complicated when you factor in trying to sync TA with Ten Chi Jin despite the fact that they're on 60s and 100s cd's respectively. Losing B4B and IR sucks.
