DDO was Asia only because DD basically flopped everywhere except Japan.

With the game getting a second chance and selling well on PC Capcom has said they've interested in localizing DDO.

I have literally payed attention to zero of that games story. The general concensus is that the game doesnt start getting good story wise till later. the reason people play it is because its a fun unfinished masterpiece. DD2 would be amazing but the story has pretty much nothing to do with it.

Ps: DDO is shit because its got a pain in the ass process to play and developers (just like with DDDA) cant into UI and quality of life improvements

Story is nothing to write home about.
It has a slight open world to it.
The gameplay is pretty good.

The whole shtick of Dragon's Dogma is basically Fantasy RPG but with more DMC'ish action focused combat and some SotC'ish boss encounters.

If that sounds appealing to you you'll probably like it, DD basically lives and dies by how much you enjoy the combat. If you go in expecting an engaging story or gripping unique lore you won't find much here.
