I honestly hate the movie podcast. Maybe I'm just a pleb, but it feels like a college class. Ian acts super pretentious and their "analysis" isn't very insightful. I much prefer RLM's Half in the Bag and Re-View, because they focus on a single movie and do a good job discussing it.

I skipped the first one because I haven't seen Mad Max: Fury Road. I have seen Brazil, and I really like it, and I was hoping to see Ian and Huber really get into it Mike and Jay style. It's mostly just Ian and his other friend discussing the definition of "magical realism". It's okay I guess. Ian's top ten list is horrendous though, in my opinion. I think Ian thinks he knows a ton about movies, and he probably has seen more movies than most of the other Allies, but I don't think he knows much about movies made before 1960.
