Everytime I play co-op it's a mediocre and somewhat laggy experience dominated by people just speedrunning the game. I might reinstall if there's a populated server up.

Does the research give levels or skillpoint equivalent? So if it takes 2 skill point to level a skill, how many levels does a research with +2 give?

Research bonuses give flat points to a stat.
Those points do count towards increased costs so it's best to save them for last if you want to maximize your gainz.

Why is E.Y.E.'s aesthetic design so much better than every other game?

Hey guys, I was playing eye with some buddies, and for some reason when I booted it up the fucking models were gone, and I got that weird fucking purple checkerboard texture.

I've tried reinstalling it and verifying cache, but to no avail it seems fucking broken permanently. Any help? I have such fixin' for EYE.

So I recently started playing this, and I don't know if anyone has had this issue, but I'm using the KA 93, and the holographic sight on it is blurry as all hell when I look down sight. I think they have, however the game suffered from being very very boring unless you're really into exploring various WH40k ships (including one of those black ships that search for psykers).

It shouldn't be that hard, most of them are just generic soldier types and not much harder than the "annihilate the Jian squadron" tasks you occasionally get in the side missions, just blast away with a good long range weapon. The really nasty ones are Rimanah and his cronies, those can and will turn you into pulp amazingly quickly while tanking tons and tons of shots, but that's why you have the gate spell.

Essentially, the enemies marked by the objective icon are the nasty ones that will summon an assload of superpowered buttbuddies and blow you away with 10 miniguns aimed in your general direction. Remember that shiny new spell your mentor gave you? Try using it on those guys, it works wonders. Everything else should explode into red mist with the usual frequency.

Some metastreumonic weapons outside of the lore that facere mortis are made from meta parts would be neat too, like a globby arm that throws fireballs, some kind of disguise that makes certain types of enemies non-hostile, a giant not-arrancadora hammer, or a rocket launching gatling gun. Things like being able to pick up and throw NPCs with 120 psi, or conjuring up physics objects to build with/throw/break out of the playable area with would add another decade of replayability to what's already there.

There's somewhere close to a dozen maps for the main campaign, some of which get near the max dimensions for source maps, then there's coop/side mission only maps that are fairly small but are arguably nicer in terms of design than some of the hueg maps.
Expect ~10+ hours for your first solo run, with the time decreasing a little bit with subsequent runs, though some of that is from trying to explore every nook and cranny and not having high level cyberlegs/high agility.

Been playing for a few hours and am really enjoying myself, but I'm having trouble with the story. It has interesting ideas, and I want to get into it, but the translation is just so bad. It's amazing how you can glitch through big parts of missions while still not breaking them by just wallbanging people in the areas you are not suppose to be able to visit yet.
I've used methods in this speed run to burn through the game 3 more times for all the gates in ~1h each run.

Once you turn Mentor hostile by shooting him or the door jobber, you normally can't complete the mission and either DEJA VU or wander around for hours until the guy with 10 hp eats up all the resurectors. Then someone does it again for fun.
By fixing it I mean skipping all of the back and forth you do for Mentor (and subsequently all of the funny business/suffering your trigger happy coop partners are willing to inflict upon you), turning a >20 minute romp through a megapolis into ~2 minutes to find the right spot to shoot and then grabbing the briefcase.

Cloak, run quickly towards them to not lose too much energy, if patrol, stand between them so you have the time to cut both before they react, cloak again so their friends don't gun you down.
Basically lots of cloaking just meters away from an enemy, also consider dual wielding, could give you the option to snipe someone further away while cutting some bloke in front of you immediately after (but you still need cloak)

Buff your energy production and capacity so running and blocking doesn't fuck you.
Also take the vitality converter ASAP.
Combined with alchemy or a medkit it is unlimited energy.
