It was BB tiers of dead for a long time after initial release, but I think after it went F2P and got a massive gameplay overhaul it got back a relatively huge audience for a short while. As someones who's worked with several dev studios, most people in the game industry are manchildren. I got out the second I saw a good opportunity to, it's unbearable. Men well into their 30's and 40's still acting like they're teenagers in terms or in some cases like children unable to take criticism or have a huge amount of smug snapped onto them.

I feel bad about blunderborn, but then I go and look at those character designs.

No it didn't. Blizzard might be new to the fps genre, but Blizzard does not need to see Gearbox as some type of threat. Blizzard can shit out anything at any time and it would instantly be eaten with glee. Take a look at when they got into the MMO genre with WoW. Most of their fans who never played an MMO before instantly bought the game just because of the Blizzard logo.

Randy has a huge ego with no reason to back it up. One game so far has been released by Gearbox that's been decent (despite the writing being horrid) since 2010 and that's been BL2.
