I remember when I could count the number of native Linux games on one hand and they were all ten years old.
Seriously, at one point I owned every Linux native game.
Plus back then our driver situation was basically Nvidia or nothing, where Nvidia's driver was mainly an afterthought because they needed into the Workstation market.

Now we have open source drivers for AMD hardware that are better than what AMD themselves could deliver, and faster in most games as well of which there are thousands of native titles including both new AAA games and older games I never thought we'd ever see on Linux.

I use UWP daily. Not only that, but if the windows store starts to dictate content policies (no gore, no "offensive content") it would effectively be dictated for all users because developers won't make two versions for the same OS.

It's a good point, and it's been touched on before. ISPs, your OS maker, they can lie. Typically they won't have a reason to, but the reality that they can lie in or against your favor is a very real issue. It's easier than ever to fake a cyber crime, and from ISPs to OSs to various apps to just what Governments often do at a base, you are being watched.

You don't have to have done something illegal, but, if you piss off the wrong person, or serve as a good example? Perhaps you have a good position to exploit? Perhaps you're a nobody and go unnoticed entirely, but you are doing something wrong, so there's no reason to act either way unless someone needs some numbers to show that they're acting, and you just got lumped in? The reality is the amount of crimes, not just cyber crimes, are so large that it can often be a bit of a lottery whether someone that's actually done something gets fingered, unless they've got someone's attention for some reason. And, of course, you could have done nothing at all, but still gotten someone's attention.

There's a lot to take a part. No system is perfect, so, no system actually gets all the bad guys/girls, but, alternatively, no system is pure, corruption always exists, so no system is free of innocents being fingered/exploited for one reason or another.

Your privacy being a non-issue, and multiple systems reporting you, just amplifies issues like these.
