Lowest HP/SP pool in the game, you die in 2 hits and your SP is depleted in 3 cast. You have to max your exp (99 mil exp) to reliably use your fury, not to mention you have to type the prayer in which makes it not viable in the heat of the moment. You require a linker which is a better class than you to begin with. Your class specific gears are watered down versions of something else better that you can't have.

The only reason to have a SN is to have a merchant that can teleport and wear every hat in the game. For any other reason, pick something else.

I've basically grinded myself out on RO like it seems you have. I played official servers way way back and grinded my fucking ass off while playing a priest. I had a blast, but eventually I left the game. Then every time since then I've just come back to private servers with higher and higher rates until I just don't feel like playing anymore. All of my old friends have moved on from the game and I just don't feel like making new ones while I grind up again. I can't enjoy RO anymore. My best hope is that a spiritual successor to RO comes out.

Tree of Savior right? I stopped playing that game before it actually officially launched. What a fucking disaster of code that game had. The graphics and sprites were super simple, yet the game slowed to a crawl if there were even 20 people on the same map. The maps were boring and linear. The gameplay was awkward with jumping included for seemingly no reason. The UI had bugs in every mode. Bots were rampant within minutes of the servers opening. Leveling was a bizarre mix of western style questing with old korean grind and neither of them felt right.

Tree of Savior was a spiritual successor in art style and name only. The actual game itself was nothing similar.

Everyone has everything, the point is to learn to use it and become the best at pvp/woe/bg with multiple classes.

A couple servers i've played on implemented a system where you earn points by killing tough mobs throughout multiple instances, involving lots of equipment/weapon switching. Not your typical slow boring ass grindfest.
Prizes were boxes with shittons of different custom headgears, boxes with slightly more powerful hats, rare refine scrolls, and custom equipment pieces, nothing too overpowered though.

You'd think someone would've figured out a couple ways to spice up the gameplay after 15 years.

I used to goof around with a shotgun build. Had a blinker to prevent blindness, and a second account with an Endow Sage to compensate for the fact that gunslingers have fuck-all elements to choose from if you're not using grenade launchers. It worked alright for farming shit like Stings. I still can't really recommend Gunslingers at all when Hunters are still a thing.

I was playing TalonRO but everyone there wears god items and everyone just stick to their 'meta' parties when doing Seals/GM Challenges.

Also to people who shit on SuNo, the chant can be keybinded, 0 effort. Frost Driver/Stone Curse and Elemental weapon+Mammonite works in PvP. There are items/cards that scale off job lvl. It's tricky but viable for pvp job.

swordsman is good and basic get into a knight you can smash shit around with almost any crappy weapon as long as the attack value on it is good.

although at knight you have to decide between spear specialization or sword stuff and you get a peco mount exclusive to swordie class.
