Here was one of the people who literally changed comedy like Cobain changed music. Before "Reality" there was nothing like it. He was like Ernie Kovak's on crank. So he's sitting there, RIGHT NEXT TO ME in this school bus sized comedy club. I say "I can't believe I'm sitting here next to Robin Williams!" Just douche-bag fan, and I'm talking 300 miles per hour and Robin Williams turns and says " Hey, Chris, relax, I'm just like you." No, No you're not. Robin Williams was a Julliard trained actor, a comedian who broke the rules then rewrote them. I remember being a kid living with my mentally ill mother, watching the first episode of Mork & Mindy and rolling on the floor gut hurting with laughter. I remember being re-inspired about stand-up after watching his "At the Met" comedy special. The depths of his Russian Sax player in "Moscow on the Hudson" is not normal "Stand up Comedy talent.
