I still remember the episode where they are in Count Koopula castle, and there's this intense action sequence that ends with the koopas crashing into a shelf of tomato sauce, the weird part about it is that everything goes to silence, the camera pans to Mario's face, and it stays there for a while before cutting to the Were-Koopas all covered with tomato sauce looking like blood, obviously, the funny part is that this scene only lasted a fraction of a second, like they were worried that it might be too gruesome for the Mario cartoon
