It might just be me, but the events themselves actually seem really comfy. Sure, they seem like they are full of awkward losers, but that's part of the charm. Everyone's a degenerate and there's no need to try and put on some facade of being a cool dude or some shit. Something about sitting in a room watching someone do well at a videogame and just chilling with people really jives my jimmes with joy.

I'd never speedrun anything myself though. I can't even fathom how people get as good as they do, let alone beat games quickly myself.

No, but my friend is starting to hit that point.

He literally never blames himself for anything and it's getting real tiring. There are four of us in our group and he's the only one that gives a shit if we lose the game, while the rest of us just shake it off and move on. We hardly get to play anymore because he just quits after the first loss, so we max out at ~3 games as a full group.

He's tearing us apart with his fuckin' autism. We're all just trying to spend time with each other but he keeps making it awkward.

it really isn't, when I mirror my PC on my flatscreen both are limited to 60 fps. When I forget to set my monitor back to 144 hz I notice the FPS drop everytime when playing CSGO or dota, or any other game that I can run at a steady 144 fps. Literally two seconds into a game and I alt tab because 60 fps sucks.

I'd take a sequel to either Tides of Time OR Defender of the Future. In my opinion, both were great games.

I know recently Ed Annunziata settled a lawsuit with Sega over the series' ownership. It's unlikely but there's a chance he got what he wanted and is making a new game.

with its epic music and crazy later levels, Ecco really seems like a game with a strong vision behind it. I doubt a sequel could live up to that, even the original creator wouldn't have the same drive all these years later.
