And the game is fun, when there's nobody in the match lagging. It takes time to get used to the controls, but after you do, the combat feels really natural and you understand when you have to attack, when you have to block, etc.

Most casuals will get FUCKING pissed at the game tho, because it's not easy to learn. So that's a worry about overall sales for the game.

My main is Terra, I think she's the best caster. I been messing around trying to learn Cecil, he's fun to use but I still kinda suck playing him. I dabbled into Shantotto a bit, she's pretty fun, so yea I lean more towards Marksman types. I want to try Kefka and also see how Sephiroth plays (since he has animation cancelling) to see if I can get better at playing Melee characters.

Because devs are too lazy to actually code AI, they just fake it.

Easy mode: AI aims his gun at the floor in front of your feet and shoots the ground for 20 minutes, then, from recoil, the gun kicks up and hits you once dealing .01% damage and causing your screen to turn slightly red. Then AI goes back to shooting the floor for 20 minutes. Your AI teammates kill everyone.

Medium: AI hits you for 80% health then stops shooting until you fully heal then shoots again. The only way to die is to have more than one AI shooting at you at once. Your AI teammates kill a few people.

Hard: AI can see you through walls and is constantly aiming exactly at the center of your head and shooting for 30% health per bullet, AI takes 300% damage to die. Your AI teammates shoot at the sky and never damage an enemy even once.

Because casuals don't like challenge in their games, and they are the people most companies market to. They don't have to try and make the game good, or difficult because their audience has lower standers.
