I'm sure their channels would be more popular if they made proper videos instead of streaming

Nintendo Switch line-up leaked. Nintendolts BTFO.
Play SotN right now and this is my biggest complaint. This isn't supposed to be street fighter. Aira of Sorrow is clearly superior then this meme game. Soul System > Spells.
>>384500351
because at the time those were extremely common inputs and it made sense to include in SOTN given the 2D side-scrolling perspective.

Magic is suppose to be something that people spend years studying to become proficient at right?
So it makes sense that the process of casting spells is somewhat complicated. Many games implement things like cast bars (which Castlevania itself used in Portrait of Ruin) to signify the character going through the motions of casting a spell.
In SotN however, instead of having Alucard just do the thing all on his own, they made the player themselves do it to supplement the fact that it's an action game.
Gameplay wise, it's to balance out melee and spells, but SotN is horribly balanced in generally so it was probably a wasted effort, although a cool idea.
I didn't even know you could do magic until years after I first played the game. They made it way too cryptic.

Any trashy nintendo rehash or some other childish shit that is revered by manchildren and autists
Known for its piss poor aesthetics and slapdash design
Hybrid bundle of every Wolfenstein, and Rising Storm/Red Orchestra with some Mountain Blade thrown in for good measure

Is that from the witcher 1 lmao
this fucking mission
This game looks like an interesting take on the 2D adventure genre. It's also got a cool cyberpunk dystopian setting.
Anyone else wondering what we can expect to see from this game?

>Games that make you feel like you're on an adventure
I can't find games that get the "adventure" feel right. Stuff like the N64 Zelda's and Nier 1 are some of the only games I've played that give me that feeling.
I'm looking for true "adventure" games that make you feel like a kid again.
>Light hearted
>Polished
>Colorful, or at least not depressing or dark (unless done in a less serious way)
>Preferably has boating
>If it's open world, it isn't an empty open world
>Cute/funny heartwarming characters
>Side quests, fishing, farming, horse riding
All recommendations welcome. Let's have a positive thread on /v/.
Divinity Original Sin is a good one. Co-Op too.

I have a few games that represent that feeling for me. They are all jRPGs though. Would like to hear what you think about these suggestions:
>Skies of Arcadia (Very charming and colorful)
>DQ8 (Lighthearted and long)
>FF9 (the updated steam release makes it enjoyable, even for newcomers. Try the first hour, if this doesen't awakes feelings of adventure in you, then our tastes are too different)
I hope you find something too your liking OP. Good luck with your search.
Looking for a deep and complex RPG where you can just forgo the main quest and shit and just settle down and do life sim shit.
