Thought it was pretty obvious that I already own the game. I've owned it since the NA launch but haven't played it since before the final expansion came out.

My thread died so I'll repost here.
Every MetaKnightmare game mode is unsatisfactory. They're boring because it's just re-doing what Kirby has already done with a more limited moveset. Going places and fighting enemies that don't suit him, in a game with a tone that doesn't suit him. Playing as a lesser Kirby to do the same adventure a second time. They're usually just filler modes, and an excuse to put in an extra boss (Galacta Knight was cool to be fair). It's not Meta Knight doing Meta Knight, it's Meta Knight doing Kirby but not as well. He was never really supposed to have a playable role in Kirby games. He shines as a boss.
However, getting his own game would solve that. If he got his own spin-off, there wouldn't be a problem. The game could be centered around him and his abilities, his skills as a boss could be realized and even expanded upon into a gameplay style tailored specifically for him, instead of having to fit in the mold of a Kirby ability. The level design and enemies would be designed accordingly. The limitations would be gone. His Meta-Knights could play a major role instead of just being satellites, if even that. He would have his own story, as a leader. The atmosphere of the game could be tailored specifically to him so this character could shine, and he would get his own soundtrack that sounds distinctly Meta Knight. Wanting people to know his power could be part of the game but that shouldn't be the sole reason he's doing something.
As an interesting side character, he was at his peak in Revenge of Meta Knight. Make that version of Meta Knight the star of a game.
