I've never wanted two useless Christmas cakes to get hitched this badly ever before.
But Akko is also already taken.
i think its like the bit where akko tries on dianas dress from when she was 11 and it fits perfectly. its about how akko is the childish silly one emotionally and it comes through in her character design. akko is the child in the child's swim suit diana is the adult in the grown up swimsuit
oh yeah, im just saying that from a character design/writing standpoint she's more physically mature because she's the adult mature foil to akko's childish personality. In universe the reason is because she's physically more developed, but from a meta perspective she's more developed because it makes sense for her character
Plenty of love to go around for Lotte if you know where to look.
Lotte flirted and kissed all the girls in the campus!
You know it's going to take one steamy Nightfall reading for them to go down on each other.
I don't know my favorite Diana-in-love characterization. Super gentle motherly lover, stern and elegant somewhat distant lover that just doesn't know how to show love, literal autist, super-bottom or tsundere. I see them all fitting perfectly in the canon characterization.
Heads up if anyone wants to buy these cutes.
Not really, Suakko porn lack any kind of imagination. You've seen one and you've seen it all.
He deleted it because I made a review about how it was blatantly copied by another fanfic:
>“Go home,” Maki says, voice low and deliberately even. Nico leans in. “Make me,” she hisses.
>"Never mind. Just… go on. Don't be late to our next class." Akko leans in close. "Make me." She hisses,
>She takes a step closer and Maki's eyes get wider and before she can stop herself, Nico’s fingers are in her hair and her mouth is on hers, all desperate and messy, and Nico's not sure what she’s expecting, but it’s definitely not for Maki to kiss her back. Her mouth is soft and then her teeth are digging into Nico’s bottom lip and it’s rough and kind of painful and Nico is really, desperately into it. Oh god, she’s into this.
>She takes a step closer and Diana's eyes get wider and before she can stop herself, Akko's fingers are in her hair and her mouth is on hers, all desperate and messy, and Akko's not entirely sure what she's expecting, but it's definitely not for Diana to suddenly kiss her back. Her mouth is soft and her teeth are digging into Akko's bottom lip and it's a mix of rough and slightly painful and Akko is really, desperately into it. Oh, she's so into this.
>Maki takes at most ten steps before Nico catches up with her.
>Diana makes it about ten steps before Akko catches up to her.
>Maki gives her a look. The doorman gives her a look. Nico want to give herself a look,
>Diana gives her a look. Heck, Akko wants to give herself a look.
>There’s another long moment of still and static, then Nico puts her hand on Maki’s shoulder, and that goes well, so she does the same on the other side, which is also a success, and Maki looks kind of confused because, okay, shoulder touching, maybe not the height of passion, so Nico just thinks fuck it.
>There's another long moment filled with sharp static; electricity that seems to crackle between the two, and then Akko lifts her hand and places it on Diana's shoulder. She accepts the touch, and then Akko does the same to her other side. When that seems to go over well, Akko is trembling and can barely stand it and whelp, you only live once,
>She loops her arms around Maki’s neck and tugs her close and just kisses her hard until there’s no pretence left, just lips and teeth and tongue, and Nico melts against her like she’s so fucking easy and she doesn't even care. It’s on. It’s so on.
>she loops her arms around Diana's neck and tugs her close, kissing her hard and needy until she is sure Diana knows exactly shy she was so distracted in class; just lips and teeth and tongue and her body sings when Diana seems to melt against her like it's all so darn easy and she isn't even bothered at all and it's all Akko can do to keep standing with her back propped up against the door.
Suakko is cute but it's always the same predator Sucy innocent Akko scenario that its most rabid fans somehow try to sell as an edgy fatal attraction sorta deal. Diakko is more varied because the wealth of their interactions was more varied so people have drawn them in different situations and with different dynamics; it's probably 90% cute-but-toothless fluff, though.
few errors in pg 09, "didn't you say don't" should be "didn't you say you don't"
pg 14, "It's strnage," should be "It's strange,"
pg 16, "made special" should be "made specially"
I didn't translate it, I just saw the link in the /a/ thread that managed to not get deleted.
He deleted it not even 30 minutes after I commented on his story so it's pretty much confirmed. What I find the most scummy though is that he left the archiveofourown version online, but with moderated comments so that you can't point out that it's stolen. Sent a plagiarism report just now, fuck that guy
I cannot recall a single instance of NSFW SuAkko stuff that didn't have Sucy as the dominant partner.
Please, feel free to prove me wrong.
I've only just started saving pics and I rarely save NSFW. It'd take time to scour the internet for other lewds, even for the Dominant Sucy ones.
Have a SFW in the meanwhile.
Akko teaching Diana mundane things is really cute.
I like how all the face designs have distinct eyes, noses and shapes. Most anime just gives them different hair and eyes and calls it a day.
>"D-diana, what's with all of the lovebites you giving me...?"
>"It's to remind Ursula that you're mine... You'll always be mine, Akko."
My immediate thought to this image.
Sucy/Akko is good for smut, neesan. It can be sexy and a bit on the dark side. Obviously Diakko smut is "more varied" because Diana had in-depth episodes, which ultimately means different dynamics. It just sounds like you're being nitpicky or acting like a hardcore Diakko shipperfag.
Okay /u/, be completely serious with me. Is this actually worth watching? From the little I've seen of these threads, there are male characters that have relationships with the female characters, but they don't actually lead into real romance, right?
>there are male characters that have relationships with the female characters, but they don't actually lead into real romance, right?
The only real romance you're getting involves two people that are dead in one episode. Really.
Andrew as a LI was dropped and after that he's basically Akko's muggle buddy and there Andrew's friend that was hitting up Lotte but she just wanted to be friends.
Andrew's most important role is actually to give some exposition on Diana from her childhood.
In the middle of the first cour a male character, Andrew, is introduced, throughout the cour it seems like they might push for a romance between him and Akko, the lead character. However in the second cour he's dropped like a fly and Trigger have stated that while there were plans for him they then decided to drop those plans, so there's no het romance from him.
There's also a minor character called Frank who expresses interest in dating Lotte in one episode, she says no because she doesn't know him well. He is then non-existant from the rest of the season.
You're an ass.
There is no actual romance, neither yuri nor het. Akko has like two (?) episodes with Andrew but nothing comes out of it. There is a very brief scene where Lotte and Andrew's friend Frank have a cute moment together.
As for yuri:
-One episode with a love potion (in this case bee) has some yuri shenanigans
-In the episode where Akko enters Sucy's dream there is a lesbian sucy
Dropped the show after episode 16 so I can't comment on what happens after that though.
There is no actual romance in the series itself. Andrew was initially supposed to be Akko's love interest but the producer stamped that out. If you want to watch it just for the yuri then you'll be disappointed to because it's not a yuri series. Just go in for the cute witch adventures and enjoy the fanart.
There's also all the animator sketches and bonus art.
Imo it all went downhill when they introduced the shitty overarching story but the episode with the fucking yeti who got bullied on twitter or something was the last straw. The production values also vary way too much for my taste
I was under the impression that the quality stays relatively the same throughout the show. If you didn't like LWA after 16 episodes, you probably won't find it much more interesting later.
those are legitimate complaints that I feel but for me, seeing the culmination to the finale still made it all very worthwhile to me. LWA is flawed and messy (noticeably more so in cour 2 like everyone says) but I love it all the same
>TFW you're the only one that loved the second cour....
Feels bad man.
That was my first post in the new thread actually. I'm dropping it though, before this thread gets more shitposting than it already has. Shame.
I think LWA is flawed, but it was flawed from the start. The problems with the first cour are the same problems as in the second cour, the storytelling is too repetitive and redundant. Feels like they had a bunch of samey "Akko learns via a mystical force she needs to work hard to gi gud" in the first cour while the second cour wasted too much time on Chariot and Croix doing literally nothing. Episodes 15 and 21 aren't bad by themselves, but they are redundant and don't bring anything that the other didn't. I still love the show and think it got a lot of things right; I'd definitely watch a second season.
I'm really glad the fanfic community is so active for LWA. There are some great oneshots and stories out there, and lots of interested readers (even better, interested readers who like, comment/review, etc).
I hope it stays like this for a while. The only thing it needs now is more branching off into other couples as the center of a story. Diakko and Croix/Chariot are just about the only ones out there. I want to see different ships too.
The thing with those two ships is that they even pop-up in stories that aren't actually romantic. Unless the story focuses on a different ship entirely it will probably have traces of Diakko.
It's not that I have a problem with Diakko at all - after all, I myself have written something for them. I wouldn't mind Diakko appearing in a fic about another couple at all - I just figured something like Hannah/Barb or Lotte/Barbara or Amanda/Constanze, etc. should be the center of more fics. Though I suppose I'm something of a hypocrite for not writing anything for any of those myself.
I did the same with a nozoeli fic, the author claimed that it was his original fic when in reality he just copy&pasted all the plot of a doujin called mask of smiles, he also deleted it
I guess we can't all take joy in a relatively simple show. It's a nice anime to watch in short bursts.
And the production values are still better than some of the other shows that came out at the time, unless they were filled to the brim with money.
>relationship chart literally focusing on Diakko
Forgot to add, official relationship chart
>the virgin Andrew
>in a forgotten corner of the page, tiny portrait, barely worth mentioning
>the chad DianAkko
>center page, giant portraits, giant arrows pointing from and into each other
Maybe I'm searching just in a wrong corner of FF, but why do lots of DiAkko fanfics I found are just... bad? They're so bland that if someone censor out the characters' names I'd never have guessed they were DiAkko fanfics.
Point me somewhere nice, nee-san.
Cold and distant but secretly lewd as fuck Diana is the best way to portray her in fanworks
There are good Diakko fics, the problem is that some authors basically just use Akko and Diana as stand-in for the general idea of the "rivals-to-lovers aka: red/blue" ship instead of actually bothering to characterize them according to the TV anime. People are afraid to writing Akko dumb enough, desu.
For spics fics, here are 3 big ones: the one that has a love triangle with Akko, Ursula and Diana and an evil spirit power makes them all act like massive bitches, the one that is a soap opera love triangle between Andrew, Akko and Diana and El Reloj del Dragon del Tiempo. The first 2 are fucking telenovelas but the last one is actually pretty good and has a perfectly characterized Diana.
I think writers get Diana right more frequently than they get Akko right. But I get, Akko is n incredibly visual character so characterizing her in writing alone is hard. The character that kinda makes me cringe the most at times is Sucy because some people write her really lame teasing for her, as if they were afraid of making her too mean.
i know right?
So I just watched up to the episode that introduces Andrew and I can see how they planned to make him a love interest, but he also gave off gay vibes to me. I really don't feel like I have anything to worry about.
>Upperclass Englishman = gay vibes
>>Can do both top and bottom
Even in terms of sexual prowess, she's a Mary Sue
You can tell it was done by a fan of the ship itself and not just to cash in on the hype.
>Akko will never turn the tables on you and top you
Why even live?
It's not a big flaw when the art is that good and on-model, but I wish it had a less dumb scenario. Couldn't they have dated for a while without anything physical happening, instead of Diana skipping confessing and going straight to sex?
Diana isn't hiding that hicky very well.
Can someone pm the translator to upload the doujin on Dynasty (and translate the afterword too)? I can read it just fine, but many people out there will never know this masterpiece exists.
>Translator deliberately says 'Do not upload to Dynasty-scans'
>Can someone pm the translator to upload the doujin on Dynasty?
You're pretty thick, aren't you?
There's a reason people try to keep doujin scans under wrap.
The hell you on about? What do you even think the scanner's "agenda" is?
No idea hey, you've gone and said there is a reason people try to keep doujin scans under wraps, and just assumed everyone knows what it is. Also what's the big deal with Dynasty anyway? For years it's been find it on Dynasty and now it's all don't let my shit get on Dynasty.
As for yuriships, who knows. They are keeping Diana under wraps for some reason. Unless it's just a marketing gimmick since she is the most popular character. But it seems she has a big role in the story. Actually, the only indication of Diana's existence in the game is pretty interesting. It's an screencap of a general menu section that appears every time loop that says:
>What do you information about?
>Any weird rumors?
>What's the menu?
I specifically want someone to ask the translator to reconsider. You are pretty thick, aren't you? If I don't care for what they said, I'd have upload it myself without asking.
If you want to withhold uplading it to Dynasty (a non-profit reader), it's better to explain why so that people can negotiate or quit asking. For example, if the reason is "I want to increase the views on exhentai" then we could convince him with "then wait for a few days before uploading like Yuri-ism does, instead of blanket abstain." If the reason is "I fucking hate Dynasty staff" then sure, nobody will ask anymore.
I want all yuri stuff to be on Dynasty because I want a concentrated resource to read yuri and spreading links. Stuff scattering around is a hassle to manage and memorize. And you'll only do yourself a disfavour because Dynasty IS the best place for yuri stuff to get noticed.
This is not the author we're talking about, but a fucking scanlator. And there's nothing "obvious" about what you said, because it's the dumbest reason on the internet for this kind of decision, that only a tumblrina would make.
>This is not the author we're talking about, but a fucking scanlator
The more accessible you make the scan the more likely the author is gonna find out about it. And japanese doujin artists getting mad at people sharing their stuff around is nothing new. If they even went out of their way to provide a mail order option that ships internationally because of gaijin interest then pissing them off is incredibly nearsighted.
If people can't read something or don't even know it exists, how the fuck are they gonna want to buy it? The author would lose zero profit because it'd never exist anyway. Increasing exposure is the only way to increase the chance that some fans will buy his shit. How do you think people in all the buyfag threads get started becoming otaku huh?
Oh yeah, so many normalfags becoming otakus through samples. What a brilliant business theory you've crafted. I bet your country will get all the dollars if you become their minister.
Why are you telling me this? I'm not the one who's disagreeing with that. If you want to start an argument with japanese artists then go ahead but they're usually not gonna side with you.
Doujins aren't made for profit anyway and they don't care much about international publicity. It's more of a community thing and if you take their work outside the community then they aren't going to like it.
Can you even read? The post I was responding to was talking about author exposure and I just explained why they might not even want it.
And maybe the translator just put it out so there would be an english version to encourage people to buy it even if they can't read japanese?
There's a clear intentional difference between the accessibility of sadpanda and an open reader like dynasty. What if they just want to put out an english version but keep it low profile so the author doesn't find out about it and possibly stop providing international shipping to future doujins?
Putting it up on dynasty might as well just open the floodgates to retarded people pestering the authors like those idiots who asked for scanlations directly on Boku's pixiv page for the comiket advertisement.
You're the one who needs reading comprehension. The post you initially responded to addressed a very specific point you claimed in >>2418617, which is "the author doesn't like prirate scanlators, pls buy their stuff since they put it on an international shipping website." And I'm calling it as nonsensical argument because:
1) The author wants more western fans to buy their stuff = it's stupid to claim they don't want exposure.
2) The scanlator already pirated this doujin. Thus refusing to post it elsewhere is then just hipocrisy instead of "honoring the author's wish".
3) If you already pirated but refusing to give it maximum exposure, you're essentially limiting the author's chance of gaining cash.
Your argument doesn't have any kind of logical intergity. You keep contradicting yoyrself in order to keep arguing. On a topic that you assume a fuckton of things, no less. If you aren't that scanlator and have no idea what's the real reason behind their refusal to post on Dynasty, fuck off.
If you are expecting some heavy yuri undertones with LWA, don't. You will be greatly disappointed. Characters don't so much as flirt with each other and the closest that you will get to even subtext is Ursula and Croix, which as more to do with the backstory and personally relation those two got more than anything else.
Trigger was rather upfront about not really having much yuri in the show itself and not trying to shoehorn in anything suggestive through it's run. And they delivered.
Oh this was just so funny with how on the nose with characterizations this doujin was.
Not really, Akko is quite juvenile (you know, being actual juvenile). They are plenty of people that find that unattractive.
Anyways, I get the feeling that after the third appearance with Akko... Andrew's characterization changed for being the "love interest" into her male pal. She doesn't really see him in a romantic light, I honestly don't think it is possible for her with her being as manic as she is.
It was if Ep.20 is anything to go by... they are not close by any stretch of the imagination, and bicker a TON when they are in the same room.
Diana respects the girl, maybe even admires her honestly but anything else with Akko is purely reaching for something that clearly doesn't exist. Not that that is EVER going to stop fanartists, hentai doujin's, etc. Or that we ever care.
What does that have to do with what I said about episode 25?
So I found this out today. Too bad she's too old.
Who permitted Croix to be this handsome?
>Dianna fades into the background until the finally.
There's five episodes after that, out of which Diana has a very prominent role in three. 23 in particular greatly develops their relationship.
>Akko doesn't really grow much from then
This isn't even worth commenting on.
Fuck me, I did not notice this. I've always been wondering who Big Ben was. I thought it might have been some generic witch.
And before anyone shitposts, no I was not in the threads when this was airing and I haven't seen it mentioned until now.
A gameplay mechanic is Akko eavesdropping on conversations being had by other Little Witches.
If whomever's writing the game were feeling cheeky, they could include some girls talking about crushes, whether on guys or girls.
Her and Chariot need to hurry up and make some beautiful children already. Three at least. They're both the best looking witches in this show and need to propagate those top tier genetics.
Not only that but since magic talent is inheritable they are also obligated to for the future of the witch community.
Is when people went into overdrive.
What the fuck are you talking about? Diana is literally the only little witch other than Akko that has any sort of role after episode 20 and she downright has a larger role than Chariot in 23 and 25.
>since it's not going to happen
By that logic we might as well stop having these threads since no pair is ever going to happen.
Breaking News, I'm not sure. It has some decent stuff but I'm against fics that take a boring route about the future of the characters such as Diana becoming a teacher at Luna Nova. Her objectives are to help people like her mother, bring back the glory days of magic and revive the Cavendish name. In my opinion, she is going to get into deeper magic research like Croix; she will learn to open up to new, non-traditional methods, just like the Cavendish motto says. Maybe she will make breakthroughs in medicine by combining healing magic with medical science. Something like that is more fitting of Diana's ambitions.
I wish there was kinkier LWA yuri content. I'd like to see or read Akko dom and sexually humiliate Diana while Diana loves it. Or for Croix to have fun with Chariot during the times in which she had her tied up or captured.
>official Trigger account tweeted this
It was drawn by the staff for the episode. It's on the official LWA website even.
Though the archive they use for that site hosts images at totally shit quality. Thank goodness they uploaded the HQ to Twitter.
I think they just split it up to avoid an over long wall of text. It's something many fanfic authors seem to do. Personally I'm not much for it. Prefer just writing out a total idea, splitting into segments only if thematically appropriate.
I kind of want to see a scenario where Akko turns down Diana's advances after Diana muster up the courage to make a move over the course of several weeks.
Kind of like Daichibokujou's doujin, but Akko is completely uncomfortable and leaves Diana alone at the bed with blue balls.
>I'm against fics that take a boring route about the future of the characters such as Diana becoming a teacher at Luna Nova.
Also whenever fanartists do it they give her short hair.
The idea of Professor Diana with short hair does things to me.
More cute witch posting is always welcome
Plus, most of the best stuff for this show came from /a/, no complaints here
So I saw pages of some of the best yuri-porn I have ever seen, which lead me to here after a long absence.
So aside from this super-hot doujin, why does LWA get so much traffic here? Near as I can tell it's probably about as /u/ related as Haibane Renmei. Did I miss something?
And doesn't pair up the girls with guys at the end.
Anyway, I personally find no reason to treat LWA different from cowardly shows like Nanoha, Symphogear or Izetta since none of them dared to call their characters gay or even make them kiss.
The difference between LWA and those shows is that they clearly are supposed to be gay but they tiptoe around directly saying it because they want to still appeal to otaku waifufags.
Meanwhile no one in LWA has any romantic relations to each other and they'll keep it that way but they know people like that stuff regardless.
Not often in the past 13 years to be honest. I'm not trying to be mean here, I'm trying to work out if this should be my next show. It just seems strange to see subtext shows hit bump limit here in an timeline where Maramite is no longer considered Yuri. Shit like the Sonohana OVA, Valkyrie Drive, Queen's blade and Sakura Trick shattered my goggles.
I'd like to think that the two sexually experimented with each other during their school days, unintentionally forming a strong bond almost akin to distant lovers.
My head canon? That Chariot asked Croix to sneak out one night to stargaze before Croix graduated and eventually shared a simple kiss on the lips beneath the full moon light. Chariot would then go on to tell her that she'll be waiting for Croix and hopes that Croix would wait for her. Waiting for what? A relationship? Who knows...
Obviously the possibilities are endless, that's just one that I like to keep in mind. They're young girls at the height of their hormonal driven emotions and sexual maturity, and girls are more likely to be bi-sexual. Something had to have happened between the two. There's no two ways about it. Those two have some interesting chemistry and a past that NEEDS more light shed upon it.
Goddammit I love Chariot x Croix, although I do feel that it's a toxic relationship at this point, no matter how much redemption Croix goes through. Croix had a chance to be with Chariot, no hard feelings, forgive & forget, something pure and beautiful, but she squandered AND spit on it.
Because despite what anyone tries to tell you, the majority of 'yuri fans' still like subtext more. Most shippers like having the mystery of what a relationship could be like and having a 'will-they-won't-they' thing happening, either with the couple themselves or with the showrunners. A good chunk of this board most probably came here from subtext shows. And when you look at fanworks and doujins the majority of the time they favour subtext shows.
Before anyone tries to put words in my mouth, I do like explicit yuri myself. But I'm perfectly capable of admitting that subtext is more popular than canon yuri.
I do agree with that but I can never tell if me seeing it that way is just me having my goggles strapped on too tight. They were both pretty much outsiders with each other as apparently their only friends for many years after all.
Croix being a bitter asshole is why I like her though. I like my ships with a bit of spice.
Plus she was fully caught in her tunnel vision of trying to prove herself and getting back at Chariot who she thought had betrayed her dreams for like ten years. Her entire conviction came crashing down on her when she realized that Chariot still cared so much even ten years later that she'd be willing to protect her with her own life and she instantly mellowed out afterwards. If Croix genuinely tries to make amends and feelings are still there then there's no reason why they can't try to heal each other.
There's also no one else who treats Chariot's skill with as much respect and still calls her with her actual name who's also her peer. All the other adult witches look down on her.
Chariot did absolutely nothing to deserve the way the Croix treated her
>was humble about receiving the rod to the point of tears of not wanting it
>only wanted to make everyone happy with the power of magic, INCLUDING Croix
>takes it upon herself to fulfill Croix's dream
>finds 6 words probably all on her own and still tries her hardest to obtain the 7th
>probably has to put up with Croix's uncalled for moodiness and bitchiness the entire time
>probably sees Croix's spiteful eyes and can only wonder why she looks that way
>is STILL happy to see Croix even after she's graduated
>willingly accepts Croix's help, thinking it's out of genuine friendship
And you already know the rest. She gets fucked over by someone whom she only wanted the best for and damn near did everything in her power to give the best to.
What does Chariot get for all her efforts? Betrayal, years of depression, and a friend who she loved, lost.
Croix is redeemable, but she doesn't deserve a second chance with Chariot. Chariot deserves someone so much better, someone who can give back 10x as much love as Chariot is capable of giving.
Like I said, as much as I love the idea of them being together, they just can't at this point anymore.
>they just can't at this point anymore.
I think it's the exact opposite actually. This is the only time they can. They had so many mental issues as teens that any relationship would have shattered at the slightest disturbance, just like it did.
Now that Chariot finally gained some sense of self-worth and Croix finally got over her obsession with the Triskelion this is the only time they can start building back a healthier relationship.
>Croix is redeemable, but she doesn't deserve a second chance with Chariot. Chariot deserves someone so much better, someone who can give back 10x as much love as Chariot is capable of giving.
>Like I said, as much as I love the idea of them being together, they just can't at this point anymore.
That's ok, it's not like they'll ever be together for reals anyway.
Yet she still praised Chariot's skill and ability to break out of the mold in front of Akko and again when she was facing Chariot in the tower. What Croix was mad about is Chariot squandering her immense talent and using the rod for things that appear useless to her.
And she was right in a sense because her Shiny Chariot shows were failing even without Croix's interference.
Wait until they introduce another witch or wizard Chariot met during those 8 or 9 years before she started teaching and have them have a bond as strong.
Putting aside Akko, that is. Because she already got the upper hand.
In any case, Chariot not "waitng for her" would be considered a cunt move, especially if we are talking about someone she considered her only friend at that time and feels enough regret to tell her she's going to look for a cure for a curse Chariot got because of her saltiness and pride n the first place...And well, we know Chariot is not a cunt.
>Wait until they introduce another witch or wizard Chariot met during those 8 or 9 years before she started teaching and have them have a bond as strong.
What is this dumb bait? Are you just trying to start some shit? Let's just wait until they introduce Akko's japanese childhood school friend who loves Chariot like her and they have an even stronger bond than Akko will ever have with Diana right because you can never know what Trigger would pull, right? This is inane bullshit.
Also there's a difference between just telling her she's waiting and yelling after her that she'll be waiting twice in an increasingly sadder tone to make sure she's heard it and hoping that she won't leave her again.
Well of course, and I do agree to an extend. Deep down Croix still held Chariot in some kind of decent regard because of "the good ol'days". In fact, you're describing everything almost perfectly...from Croix's point of view.
What was Chariot's PoV aside of the little we saw on episode 23? what was Woodward's PoV? The reason I'm not buying completely Croix's "Why are you ignoring me?" Is because of those two.
Because I like be realistic about these kinds of things, as should Chariot. Knowing her she's going to naively accept Croix back with open arms when she shouldn't.
Then there better at least be a sincere, tearful apology from Croix, admitting that her actions were wrong, expressing genuine regret for everything she has done and everyone she had hurt. After all is said and done then Chariot needs time to think long and arduously about how things are going to work out between them from there on out. Everything is up to Chariot at this point.
>it's not like they'll ever be together for reals anyway.
Oh they will. This fan base will see to it.
This is why we NEED more backstory between the two. They're not the MC's but dammit they stole the show, and we need more of them in season 2.
>What is this dumb bait? Are you just trying to start some shit?
Bait? Calm your tits, I'm just trying to discuss the possibility because Chariot's background has actual room for that.
Also, that example of yours is way off. Not only Trigger wouldn't do that but if they ever attempt it, it would be with a brand new character that has little or nothing to do with Akko's background.
Well yeah I never claimed otherwise. Problem is that Trigger just wasted their screentime with ramen slurping and a little bit of antagonism that didn't go anywhere until the end that makes it really difficult to get a complete reconstruction of what happened.
Like what happened directly after Chariot got the rod. Was Croix secretly seething inside or did she genuinely help Chariot get the words? She seemed to accept her being the bearer of the rod after saving her from Wagandea but why did she turn back into a neet cunt afterwards? Did she just completely give up on Chariot at that point? It is a mystery
>it would be with a brand new character that has little or nothing to do with Akko's background
What's the difference with what you said?
>it would be with a brand new character that has little or nothing to do with Ursula's background
And I think we actually did get a tiny picture of one of Akko's middle school friends. I don't have it on hand though.
>I'm just trying to discuss the possibility a completely new male wizard being Chariot's close friend
>on /u/ of all places
I'm praying for the chance that we get Chariot and Croix's backstories entirely fleshed out in an OVA.
I don't give a fuck if Croix was just an accessory character to compliment/make up Chariot, I want both of their pasts to be thoroughly explored.
Akko being atrocious at english is my fetish.
>a character Chariot has been closely tied with in almost every flashback and who was a key part in her backstory with the rod and her career as Shiny Chariot and was created for the TV series just to be her foil
>nonexistent character you came up with just to disprove the relationship of the former
Are you actually trying to argue this?
If you hate yuri so much you need to write your own fanfics about Chariot's wizard boyfriend and then act like it's just as valid as a source of information on the characters as the show itself, you might be happier not visiting this board.
At this point I feel like it's too late. They should just build up a new relationship and go from there.
Going back to the messed up flashbacks would probably leave a sour taste. I'd much rather have something like Croix magical police CSI adventure.
Do you think if Croix broke down, apologized for everything, hugged Chariot and told her "I love you" just like Akko did, would Chariot say "I love you too" back?
It's great, but I still prefer long hair Diana.
honestly same. i want shit like diana and amanda in a competition on who can pleasure akko the most, or croix mindbreaking chariot (or akko why not?), or post redemption chariot domming croix. or hardcore sucy/akko.
Chariot could be used in some really good simple dom stuff
>Chariot going down on Croix and edging her with her tongue just right until the brink of orgasm but never letting Croix cum
>Every time Croix tries to desperately finish herself off with her hands, Chariot violently holds them back with her superhuman strength
>Chariot repeats this process a painful number of times, numbing Croix's mind and breaking her will
>Croix desperately panting, sweating, and drooling from the the build up that never goes anywhere
>Chariot bending Croix's arms almost painfully behind her back and demanding that Croix to beg for it
>"Please... Make me cum... I want to cum! PLEASE!" Croix would say through almost gritting teeth
>Even after begging, Chariot still doesn't stop and relishes in Croix's sexual torment for even longer
If only I was a drawfag...
Not that anon, but no. Because I unironically think Croix never considered Chariot an actual friend until the end of the series, much less she would say something like that to Chariot without sounding fake. And he does have a point, their relationship being somewhat "resetted" sounds better.
I'm sure she did consider Chariot a friend when they were students because the headpatting and the smile in the photo didn't seem fake to me. She never smiled in any of her other photos.
And while the arae arhyra flashback is pretty ambiguous because we never saw her expressions I think she definitely was impressed and definitely respected Chariot's talent.
>They could still do subtle romantic relationships with side characters.
I would KILL to see a scene where Chariot and Croix kiss each other but the view is conveniently and tastefully obscured by something in the foreground. Maybe leave it up for the audience to decide whether or not it was on the cheek or lips.
Maybe in the library? Maybe during that flashback after Chariot was done showing Croix her transformations? In the astronomy tower?
My heart is already beating with anticipation!
I know a kiss isn't necessarily subtle but still... Those two only had each other during their Luna Nova days. Croix was too scary to approach and viewed as a straight geek, and Chariot was so full of energy and optimism that it probably annoyed everyone around her, except for Croix. Somehow the two found each other and clicked.
Damn, there's just so much to cover! There just has to be love between them! There has to be!
"Ti amo con tutto il mio cuore."
Please let it happen.
This is true. I see no reason (or issues) for them not having Chariot having an actual romantic interest or picking up the Lotte x Frank subplot because the problem was with Akko and Andrew.
In any case, I would still like it to be no romance at all, for anyone.
Nah, Dynasty-scans directly went against what the scanlator wanted. They're a bunch of hypocrites. It's probably why they didn't want the doujin up there in the first place. They claim they have "evidence" (too stupid to know the difference to between evidence and proof), as if there is any exception for them openly trying to spite people.
Bokujoukun noticed because it got put on Dynasty. Told ya so.
Mods on /a/ might be losing their minds, but at least I have yo/u/...
at least we have kengo's implied lewdish diakko pic
and it's unintentionally hilarious positioning in his c92 art book
>Maybe during that flashback after Chariot was done showing Croix her transformations?
I always found this part of the sequence odd, where Chariot is initially very close to the camera then backs up. Seems like what Croix would see if she opened her eyes after a long kiss.
All Croix had to do was pull Chariot aside, sit down, and tell Chariot what was bothering her... Chariot would have listened! And she would most likely have worked on what was bothering Croix.
Why did she have to throw away such a pure and beautiful relationship the two had? How could she hurt someone who loved her so much?
does diana have a thing for romantic/lewd library scenarios?
My headcanon :
>Even after they start dating they don't get to be openly affectionate very often.
>They probably rarely make time to go on proper dates.
>Most of their free time is probably spent with the group. And it's not like they're going to make out in those situations.
>Those study sessions in the library are probably their only alone time for the most part.
>Tension builds between them as they send glances toward each other while studying.
>All eventually stands up to 'take a break' to stretch, walk around, then sort of leans against a bookshelf sending a sort of 'come get me message'.
>Diana takes the hint and comes to the conclusion that 'taking a break from studying wouldn't hurt' and once she's sure no other students are around, well, you see how that turns out.
I like to think Diana has a library fetish that only got worse because of her "tutoring sessions" with Akko.
>Boku is still saying they're assholes for doing it in the other tweet.
Do Japanese even know that such site like sad panda exist which holds hundred of thousands of scanned works which anyone can download for free which puts usual manga hosting sites to shame with the quanity of hosted works?
Awkward nerds like Croix tend to be absolute garbage at feelings. Heart-to-hearts require emotional vulnerability; easier by far to tell herself that she doesn't resent Chariot anymore and is just trying to help her and not show her up.
So you are an entitled prick.
>the characters aren't theirs that means that the artist's work was worthless and I'm allowed to pirate them
>they're in the wrong if they get mad
We're all fucking pirates here but it doesn't mean you have to be a complete idiot about it. If you gotta pirate something then it's common sense to keep on the low and not catch the attention of the people you're pirating from.
If you don't then you'll just be the retard who ruins it for everyone else.
I just wanted to flush him out and see if he really is involved. Looks like he is.
Why do you think uploading the doujin to large sites like exhentai and e-hentai would fly under the artist's radar, but they'd definitely notice if it ended up on a relatively niche site like Dynasty? Note that their original tweet doesn't say how they found out about it.
Well I don't know then. It just seems very suspicious they didn't say anything when the doujin was uploaded, nor when it was translated but exactly shortly after it was uploaded on Dynasty.
Even with the login, exhentai has significantly more users than Dynasty, and e-hentai doesn't require a login. If the artist found out about it almost as soon as it was uploaded to Dynasty, they either visit the site regularly or someone informed them. Since that doesn't usually happen with Dynasty uploads, I can only assume it was some mysterious party with a grudge against Dynasty who wanted to stir up shit. But who could it be?
Has someone told her that somebody scanlated and uploaded on ge-hentai yet? Because I can read it even without an account. If anything else, the scanlator IS the asshole that allowed it in the first place and not Dynasty scans no matter how you look at it.
I find the Imaishi interview about episode 25 more interesting, to be honest. Imaishi might literally be the hero of /u/.
>-Imaishi is a Diakkofag and really wanted to show dere Diana towards Akko after the coming out scene as Chariotfan in episode 23, even if she would go back to being a bit cold in the epilogue. Diana's depiction in the original written scenario wasn't as emphasized as it ended up being in the complete episode; Imaishi added many things to Diana's depiction and fleshed her out in the storyboard.
>-Akko was shooting the final Shiny Arc by herself in the climax. Producer told Imaishi to make Diana do something to support Akko because she was looking like an extra. Imaishi happily suggested to let them both shoot the Shiny Arc together, recalling the Shiny Ballista from the movie, and it was approved.
So stuff like Diana crying about Akko falling down was definitely Imaishi's doing.
>to keep on the low and not catch the attention of the people you're pirating from.
If they only get it NOW what the internet is and how it works, than I'd say those artist are pretty damn naive.
>If you don't then you'll just be the retard who ruins it for everyone else
And what will they do, not drawing their porn anymore?
>So stuff like Diana crying
You mean that single tear in a freeze frame?
I wish they had let Diana express her feelings more openly, she having a straigth face during most of her talk with Akko in episode 23 almost ruined the moment.
Well, we don't know the extent of Imaishi's modifications. All they say is that the emphasis the final episode placed on Diana was due to Imaishi.
As for making Diana emotional, it would almost be OOC. She probably doesn't really know how. She even stopped herself from jumping into the hug pile in 24 even if she came running alongside everyone else...
She has a cool poker face 95% of the time.
Diana is finally revealed for the game and it seem like we're going to be getting a good dose of first-half Akko/Diana interactions. Diana realizes Akko is time-looping because she is SASUGA and forces herself on your gang.
