The only real reasons you need to post outside of the specific thread is when linking a new doujin in the releases thread, or occassionally asking for TL help in the Translation Thread. If you want to spread the AoRan goodness, try and stick to the contextually-relevant threads (eg. noone would mind if you stuck a pic of AoRan tribbing in the tribadism thread, providing you don't follow it up with a paragraph of why you love them so damn much).

Basically, if you don't want anons to hate you, pay attention to why they hate you and maybe do less of that. For example, anons really hated it when I rushed to make new threads the instant one hit bump limit, so now I make sure to wait a good 1-2 days before making a new one, and pretty much just limit myself to the Releases and Translation threads.

Disclosure: I still like Aikatsu and even enjoy the various yuri moments from Stars. I've just grown out of taking screencaps of every /u/-relevant frame or scouring Pixiv for fanart and thus don't post as much.
