To add to that, some of the TLs done by anons here have been extremely accurate and well written. Editing is time consuming, but translation can be (and often should be) as well. I'm a native english speaker but passed JLPT N2 a few years ago. Even though that level is more than sufficient for quick and easy literal translation of manga (less so LNs), I tend to mull over phrases in order to really nail the colloquial native english equivalent. It often helps to bounce them off Japanese ESL speakers in order to bridge the gap.

Yes, Koharu resembles Akari, but it's pretty much impossible for her to have had Koharu without Rinko knowing about it (she wouldn't even have been able to stay in school and graduate normally). My guess is they're her older brother's kids. The guy in ch 1 is probably Koharu's father as the little girl calls him Dad in baby talk, so if he's Akari's brother it would explain why she was giving him a scarf. Something could have happened to their parents leading to Akari ending up adopting them.
