If you haven't noticed yet, they lose the shields when using Mankai. Fuu and Tougou did too, that's why Yuuna was able to punch Tougou.

Why that happens is still unknown but it could be because the fairy/fairies fuses with the Yuusha to achieve Mankai or they don't really need the shield when their bodies are enhanced by Mankai.

Mankai is more similar to the fairy summoning system in NoWaYu than I thought.

Sange appears to be the replacement "drawback" of channeling fairies in WaSuYu/YuYuYu as opposed to the psychological deterioration experienced in NoWaYu. Makes me wonder if fairies will exist at all with the new mass-produced hero system Sonoko was talking about.

I already said this in the talk about "Nogi Wakaba"'s volume 2, but I hope that I can make clear that the efforts of Wakaba and the others weren't in vain. The newest project of the series that will be introduced next, "Kusunoki Mebuki is a Hero", is a story that connects "Yuuki Yuuna" and its sequel "Heroes' Chapter". The actions of the new girls that will appear in this work will once again be passed to the "Heroes' Chapter" as a "Baton of Courage", so I hope you will enjoy reading it!

Takahiro: The hero system will get an update in Chapter 3 and the fairy system will be implemented. Sonoko's fairy will make her first appearance and much more, so please look forward to Sonoko's awesome fight in the battle scene! Of course, Sumi will do her best, too. And the scenes that continue from Chapter 2 will be sure to touch your heart. There will be very painful, but also beautiful parts, so I hope you will watch them.

Q: Which family is the "Akamine family" whose name is engraved on the Great Bridge's stone pillars?
A: It's a family that exists in-universe, but hasn't appeared in the series yet.
Takahiro: You really wouldn't see these pillars if you don't look closely, so I was surprised at how quickly everyone noticed it! The names on the pillar are all carefully put together. Among the names of the first generation's fighters from "Nogi Wakaba is a Hero" is the "Akamine family", and that's a family that exists in-universe but hasn't made an appearance yet. But since it's part of the setting, the name was written there. Those who follow the series closely might be able to hear that family name somewhere else. Also, the "Shiratori family" was added because it was Nogi Wakaba's will. Thinking that it was all thanks to Shiratori defending Suwa for two years that Kagawa could continue to exist, Wakaba had her name be eternalized as an honorable family. Unlike with the Koori family, the idea to leave her name for future generations wasn't rejected by the Taisha, for a number of reasons.

There are actually quite a number of candidates. These girls are gathered at the Gold Tower in the story, but since we can't feature them all, we will only focus on four of them. One of them is Kusunoki Mebuki, the main character. By the way, Mebuki once competed with Miyoshi Karin for a complete hero system and lost to her. Please look forward to her connection with Karin!

I already mentioned that it would be set near the Gold Tower, and we will use places around there as the stage for the work. Akashiro Aoi-san went location hunting to plan the story.

I believe her design will be revealed along with this, but I can say that Mebuki is a very cute girl, although she does have some quirks. It's a story about those who weren't chosen as heroes, so the girls that have gathered each have their bad habits - even in the Divine Era, where the sense of morality is strong. Please watch and find out what kind of mission awaits the girls once they learn the cruel truth about the world outside the wall. At the beginning of the story, Mebuki and the others "are not Heroes". Still, it's titled "is a Hero", just like the other parts of the series. Yeah, I think the franchise is pretty healthy as it is right now. It's popular enough to get new stuff regularly, but not so popular that it would suffer from the cancer and milking that kills most mainstream series after a while.

I'm really surprised about Sora no Woto, though. I thought it was just another case of "S2 never" forgotten by everyone except a select few, but it actually got into the top 100 of the male ranking.

FLAC is a different concern because it's lossless, which is really important if you need to convert to various lossy formats and not want to suffer from generational loss.
But bundling FLAC with animu and have it occupy 40%+ or so of the filespace in your anime instead of cutting down on filesize or improving video quality is utterly retarded as fuck.
