I have some issues with the story's direction and boy it felt rushed as fucked. Like nobody bought that fake world ending. Yuri wise it was great, no implied implications this time. I'd love a kissu as much as the next anon but there's no doubt those two are in love. Also, a litle difference between their first and last encounters.

I've seen a ton of different interpretations of it. Halfway through my guess was that Cocona was waking up with amnesia every morning and going through the same actions of looking for Papika.

The part that really confuses me was when Papika woke up in the tree and met Cocona when they were both children.

I guess that was the Pure Illusion Mimi fled to with baby Cocona, and that this scene was later after she'd grown a little. That would explain Papika's situation as well. But then Cocona says that she'd met her before when she looked older, as a baby and an old lady. I don't even know what she was referring to.

I'm glad they get to be together in the end though.

Cocona wasn't a replacement goldfish after all. If anything Papika's love at first sight was because she had very vague memories of their encounter in PI.

Okay, pretty good ending. Wish they had kissed, but they're like what, 12 or 13? They probably haven't gotten to the age where they just want to fuck like rabbits all day, so the first thing that comes to mind is just hugging.

This ended way better than I expected, nobody who wasn't already dead died, no time reset, no stupid bullshit to get in the way of pure childish lesbian romance.

They were sent by the Grannybot, because Cocona was late. They probably had no orders to return the amorphous, since they didn't know about CocoPapi going to PI yet. (Which KKK learned about probably when Yayaka spied on them in ep2).
They probably just released Papika and told her Cocona will be fine. Papika then picked up the amorphous. She's not very smart and probably either just forgot about it or thought it was normal for Cocona's guardians to show up.
