This is cute, I don't know why I don't mind seeing Einhart with Yumina instead of Vivio, usually I don't like to see yuri couples messing around with other girls.

They normally give romance in Nanoha a very low priority, but with the scenario we got at the end of Vivid Strike they have the potential to write a whole drama/romance manga about this love triangle, maybe adding some of the other friends of Vivio to the mix too.

Recent EinhartxVivio's arts are way less coupley than they were before and they barely talk with each other anymore in both Vivid and Strike. Meanwhile, Yumina got that "proposal" scene in Vivid, that "just married" sticker in Strike, was put next to Einhart in the ending group picture just like how Rinne is next to Fuuka, and then there is this in the upcoming drama CD.

There is nothing such as plausible deniability regarding the Takamachi family or their marriage, that's an issue settled in stone. Seven Arcs listed the 3 of them as a family even before Vivid, they have been referred as such dozens of times and is an integral part of the plot of the series, and both Nanoha and Fate are listed as Vivio's guardians after Strikes, which confirms their marriage, that was a fact teased in live events since even before it became canon and we were given all those official wedding artworks.

Animesuki once had the largest and most active Nanoha section. There were many posters and fans who would gather in it, share fanfics, make jokes, etc.

Then came the shipping wars. It was NanoFate vs Yuunoha. It was a shit show, I remember it distinctly because I was trying to stay out of it but got dragged into the stupidity by rabid NanoFate fans who wanted to me to 'translate' proof of their pairing. I had to point out that the creators were a bunch teasing assholes and seemed to indicate Yuunoha at times, and then tease NanoFate.

Basically it was possibly the one of the greatest shipping wars ever in Nanoha fandom. And it never stopped! There was always some rabid NanoFate fan going berserk about the mere mention of the ferretboy Yuuno. Then Yuuno defenders would come out of the woodwork. Then instant thread derail!

Not until the NanoFate fans left to go to another forum to obsess about NanoFate was there peace.

When it became known I wasn't going to support NanoFate to rabid obsession and was neutral to ferretboy (who is boring, there's no way around that fact people), NanoFate fans started sending me hardcore lolicon manga using fake titles to gross me out. It was more than one person, it was a small vocal minority that got permanently banned from the Nanoha subforum for being such obsessive haters of Nanoha, Fate or Nanofate that they had to moved to the fanfiction forum, some kind of secret club webpage for them.

Animesuki now is pretty slow, but at least you can talk about Nanoha, Fate or Nanofate without the rabid haters jumping at you.

I did it on a user to user basis. Some people couldn't understand stuff they had bought or found over the internet. They used to send private messages to me so I could take a look at it and do some basic translation. I found some great mangas and doujins through that way. Not all of them were about Nanoha.

I don't know, over the last 10 years the need for fandom's to involve themselves with "shipping" between characters has turned really ugly. Fandom's that do so turn rabid rather fast, and any constructive discussion such topics is marginalized. As I said before, I don't like when that happens... passion for a show, it's characters, an interaction between said characters is one thing. This... this is not passion, this is an obsession. And obsessions are dangerous.

There are no guarantees to that, as I said since nothing has really be stated... walking that back is not nearly as hard as you thing. What is worse is that with the franchise in the state that it is currently at, it's a rather good option to attract attention.

It depends on were you go to be honest, there are fandom's around some entertainment where that kind of behaviour simply doesn't take root (or it's not nearly as prominent).
I do agree with you however, that once it does take root... it tends to get ugly really fast and never really goes away. In an age of Twitter/Instagram/Facebook, it's only really magnified the problem.

I think more vivid is also unlikely considering A-1 did the first season, the manga is still going and vivid strike kinda made it irrelevant.
