I'm the anon writing 'The Angel and the Pilot' (aka that one D.VaMercy fic there is; we seriously need more), and (as was the case with all chapters so far) I could use some suggestions from /u/ for the next chapter.

It's gonna be a lighthearted 'Day Off' sort of thing set right after the last chapter, but I need some more stuff that could actually happen in the city (Gibraltar, btw); so far I got something involving an arcade, a sunset walk at the beach to close off the day, and holding hands so they don't get separated in a crowd and Angela getting all flustered when Hana forgets/'forgets' to let go afterwards. But I feel that isn't quite enough for a whole chapter yet (and the last one was pretty short already), so it'd be grand if /u/ had some prompts or small greentexts to write a few more scenes from. Much appreciated.

Might be, the picture they painted of Amelie's life and treatment at Talon was absolutely terrifying already. I was hoping they wouldn't go there but with everything else she went through I guess it wasn't that surprising.
Anyway it's not that long but enough to make you feel bad.
I still like the fic and the interactions of Lena and Amelie are great but some stuff just sours the whole thing to me (not only the rape thing but also I had a minor facepalm reaction about some scenes few chapters back plus personally the growing focus on other chaarcters/pairings isn't to my liking either)

OK let me give you a small tip in spotting shit authors in the first few chapters. Of course that's not a total guarantee of the shit they might pull later, but it helps in already determing the quality.
So when writing something and people use things (and I use Overwatch as an example now) like "the british woman" or "the brunette" for Tracer or "the blue skinned woman", "the Talon agent", "the Assassin" for Widowmaker that is already a pretty good indicator that the author actually is an amateur, since every experienced author out there will tell you that you only ever need to use the name of the character or the term "she" in this case, to keep it simple is the key.

Another big no-no which can already be seen in the tags though is "everybody is gay" because that usually just denounces the author as a fangirl that wants to have every little of her ships in the fic and that just means she has no real focus down. If it's two gay couples that's fine, but if you spot more than that take warning.

D.Va is the typical cute small girl of the cast. In a anime, she'd have her own slice of life adventures as Umaru. Basically, she's /u/'s tastes for schoolgirls.

For me, I really like that the majority of the female cast are older WOMEN, not little girls. Yuri gets so painfully boring after reading the 200,00th school girl drama. Also it helps make D.Va stick out more since she's the youngest girl in a cast of veteran women.
