Also he has mentioned that he has a few Ichigo Mashimaro chapters to translated from earlier this year. The translator Ralen seems prioritize translating Yatsuba and tweets from Azuma. Mao only has some wicked thoughts, but everyone has wicked thoughts and it's your actions and how they effect people which makes you a good or bad person.

And Mao's actions were never anything but good towards Itsuki. Maybe not 100% well-intentioned but she never hurts Itsuki, backs away when she makes her feel uncomfortable, and doesn't use Itsuki's crush for material gain but is instead motivated to act like a responsible adult so she can stay with her.

Along similar lines, Mao thinks she can't be in love with Itsuki because she can't imagine going down on her, but love and sex are more complicated then that and chapter 2 shows us quite clearly that she definitely does physically desire Itsuki in her own way and both chapters emphasise that she has "delicate feelings" for Itsuki that she has never experienced with other men or women.

So Mao only thinks that she's not in love and a bad person because reality does not match the ideas and stereotypes in her head. I think the point of the manga is to show, without spelling it out with a sledgehammer, that these are just misunderstandings and sometimes life is strange.

The ending (and the title) left me pretty confident that Mao would hold on to her girl and resolve these issues as she matures, and then they'd be all wife'n'wife together. I liked Moratorium quite a bit.

I don't know about that, it's better for YH to fail as a yuri only magazine seeing their new line-up full of CGDCT stuff we already have with Kirara.

The editor really missed a moment seeing how many Kirara works got anime adaptations while their only adapted anime was YuruYuri of similiar light yuri approach.

YH needs to change their name and expand to heterosexual and yaoi content, then only good yuri stories would stay due to simple elemination method like happens in non-yuri magazines.

80% of YH current works can go into trash can and no one will ever remember them as generic boring stories.

I've been into yuri since 2009, so I don't know if I apply as "younger generation". I just see nothing wrong so far with the images.
Perhaps you're one of those who wants to see "adult lesbians" in YH, so I can see why they doesn't appeal to you(the characters all look like schoolgirls), but no matter how you look at it, people who want that are a minority.

Aside from that issue, there's nothing else that can be said about these series yet. Even if you didn't like the previous works of these artists, it doesn't mean that their series is going to be bad, so you're literally judging a book by its cover.

It does concern the section I thought, and I fully support mocking the stupidity of his statement, but Ricchii didn't actually say "yuri hime is not about yuri" (this time, at least). He was commenting on the fact that they're the only magazine that's referred to as "yuri only", despite the fact that he never made that claim himself. The exchange may have been intended as a joke (because of Pine's interjections), or a philosophical question, or maybe even a humblebrag, but Ricchii has a special talent for being obnoxious so it ended up just being annoying. This is the relevant bit from the magazine:

You can think of it as a joke or whatever but now when a lot of japanese yuri fans are not happy about the new direction of the magazine that was a really bad wording from Ricchii's side. Especially now when they are going to become a monthly magazine. I wonder how good or bad is YH selling now. I only know that the circulation of the magazine is about 55 000. And it's published online in China. But how many copies were sold of each issue? I admite. I never bought any issue of YH. I've started buying yuri manga (mostly kindle editions, over 100 ebooks right now) in 2015, so when YH started this new direction I don't like.
