I don't like Sayaka, that's true. She should have stayed dead because it lessened the impact of her original and final death in the anime. Having her come back temporarily to support Madoka in Rebellion would have been fine, but staying after Homura became a devil wasn't appropriate.

And to clarify how I feel about Sayaka, I think her character and role she plays is fantastic, but I think she herself is a shitty person.

I think it was important in showing that Homura isn't actually a horrible person who wants to hurt anyone, she's just an obsessed lesbian who wants Madoka in her life.
She could have gotten rid of sayaka, but considering how sayaka was alive it'd be the same as just killing her.

You're right, but even though Madoka is in a human form, the Law of Cycles still continues on without her in the present. Homura could've just sent her and Nagisa back in, no harm done.

Though she probably kept her around to make it easier to keep Madoka in her human form. If she came back from America to find that her friend died or didn't exist anymore, who knows what would happen?

It's unclear whether or not Law of the Cycles still functions as it's supposed to in Homu's universe. Madoka's wish was to destroy every witch with her own hands, and Homura pulled her apart from the Cycle by her hands. So I think the Law of the Cycle might be broken without Madoka.

I assume it's still going on because no Witches seem to exist in Homura's world, though we saw very little of it. Secondly, the Law of Cycles clearly doesn't progress through time in a linear fashion, if Madoka resumed her duties in 100 years, it would still work.

The fact that kb is incapacitated means there's a chance that there are no magical girls at all in homura's new universe, which would in turn me no witches, no wraiths, no nightmares etc..

From how madoka seems to have some of her abilities hidden away we can assume the the law of cycles is still a thing, just held back by homura, so while it might exist in the universe outside of homura's domain, while homura is alive it has absolutely no impact and might as well be meaningless.

No, because she acts like an asshole to everyone. She tries to be a hero, but when that obviously fails she starts going crazy and treating everyone around her like garbage. She refuses to learn her place in the world and to understand that her duties require her to make sacrifices. The worst of all is that she isn't honest, Kyouko is a horrible murderer, but at least she admits it and is comfortable with herself to a degree.
