But when they decide to actually capture a wight, they improvise. By pushing it around, body slamming, and finally tying it up, they finally capture it. They should have a lasso at hand. Maybe they should bring some snow shoes if they have to be on foot. Maybe they should put on hoods to protect their ears and the head. Finally, what's their plan B? What if something goes wrong? They didn't even prepare for the worst. Dany should've waited on the Eastwatch Castle just in case they need to be rescued, instead of flying all the way from Dragonstone, if she worries about the stupid heroic deed that Jon was a part of. Because of Jon's participation in the mission, Dany had to rescue him, and the rescue mission puts her dragons in danger. What's worse, because of that stupid expedition-turn-rescue mission, one of Dany's dragon got killed and later resurrected by the Night King.
