I wanna see a comfy, snowy Scandinavian-style murder mystery thriller set in some remote, snow-capped town during polar night.
Except it's set in sci-fi future. I want to do an imagining of what some remote chilly town near the north pole would look like in the future and the murder mystery involves killer crafting futuristic tech.
The movie will be tense and, above all, extremely comfy in a cold way.
I'm working on a screenplay for a chilling dystopian scifi where a robot hairdresser becomes sentient, then ANGRY. She knicks a guys ear and gets a taste for blood. What follows is 90m of revenge against the patriarchy! A revenge slasher jam packed with quips! Pretty sure sony will love it.

Alien vs Predator
30 days of night

In the future, thermohaline collapse has shifted the axis of the planet. Scandinavia is tropical. Ecuador is the North Pole.
Other than that, I like the ideas.
Aliens invade earth.
All humans die within a week cos humans are stupid as fuck.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) would be right up your alley
>American Psycho remake or sequel starring Christian Bale set today
>"The Dark Knight Returns" starring Christian Bale giving his darkest, most sadistic and maniac performance ever

Yes except that's about some moody hacker-gurl... My movie would star a straight-shot, hard-laced investigator and would be set about a century or two into the future.

or a sudden crustal displacement where atlantis used to be in tropical antarctica, ala graham handcock? Sounds very emmerich.

I think even handcock eventually admitted it was kind of silly though he talked about it a lot in mysterious origins of man. Maybe good enough for a dumb scifi flick though.
