Definitely the worst thing about a pretty bad show. Issa is clearly trying to make him the "Adam" in Girls and it's not working.

But yeah, his character was an asshole in season 1. Zero motivation and mooching off his girlfriend then acts mad because she slept with someone else mostly out of desperation

Yeah I get that he's a good looking guy but he is also incredibly boring and has zero game. The two girls only wanted to fuck him because they are fetishists and they were disappointed for the most part because he has no game and isn't that good in bed. He's not Chad.

That's how shit works though. Sometimes you can be comfortable in life and then something causes you to get off your ass. Issa and Lawrence getting back together caused him to try and put himself back to work. He was always smart but just need the fire under his ass. Then after being burnt by Issa he doesn't know how to act anymore. And he thinks of himself as the "good guy" like in that one scene but he's now fucking everything that moves and realizing choices in life are hard. Look at how he handled the girl after Issa. She was good to him and he completely ghosts her during her family's BBQ because her family is ghetto as shit. So is he still a nice guy? He has no idea how to handle that so he just sticks with his friends from work.

And it's obvious from the 2 white girls scene he figured he'd be slick and all but he was just another tool used by other people. So is he really being a nice guy, is he making the right decisions? He's trying to navigate that life after being comfortable in a long relationship and now he's his own man, and seeing life actually outside of that - and shit's complicated sometimes. And sometimes what we think we are is completely different than WHO we are.

People actually watch this show?
I watched a snippet and the main character seems annoying. Do the other characters make up for it...?

Not at all the show is pretty much Girls-tier. It's good for hate watching but not much else.
