There are no limits (except the story must be at least 1 word long, and preferably not in excess of 10,000, it's short fiction you fuck).

We are going to be starting an index on the wiki for the collection. Anyone can contribute, no signups/pitches required. If you have ideas, feel free to broadcast them.
The rest is self-explanatory. Format for uploading your work is up to you, as long as it can be conveniently copied across (and ideally don't spam long texts in /who/ directly). (Pastebin works well.)

BONUS: Anyone who wants to do cover art or "illustrations" is encouraged.

And funny stories hmmm.... when we were filming this story that I just posted, we had this church that would be the Cybermen headquarters when they takeover, and we had to wait when there was no one in the building. So anyway, there this old lady who just would never go away, so we decided to scare her off shouting in our voice modulators, but then she began praying because she thought we were demons. Anyway, it was difficult to make her leave, but we did it.

Have you watched the Moonbase? Best one by far, after doing Tenth Planet and Moonbase I think Planet 55 Studios had the whole animated thing down, unfortunately the BBC hates Doctor Who and they'll never animate a story for them again. I swear if they wanted to do a full missing serial the best option would be these guys, I mean they have a good balance of camp animation and appreciation for how the stories back then were directed and how shots were staged and things like that.

I'm not a fan of this sort of dismissive "haha we all hate it" thing, coating everything with irony is cowardly. Is it so unthinkable to be earnest and genuine and say you love the show? I earnestly love Capaldi Who, not in a "I dedicated X amount of my life to Doctor Who so I'm already in this deep" sunk cost thing, not in a "yes I know it's bad in X ways but I still love it" way, but in a genuine "I truly love it and think it's fantastic" way. I find it silly how people feel the need to qualify their actual opinions so much. I love Doctor Who and I feel no need to pretend I don't, or to dismiss that love in any way.

I'm being super reductive here but I think it's amusing how even though it actually does kind of shore up sensibly, RTD and Moffat had such different takes on the show and 10's character that while the 50th not only mechanically works between Waters of Mars and End of Time actually really well (especially considering the Queen gag too), but from a character sense as well, tonally and thematically it's like completely opposed. Pretty interesting from a meta perspective. RTD punishes 10 for his hubris, Moffat rewards him for it.

Absolutely, I'm of the same mind (although with different eras, since I love Capaldi Who but there are other eras less to my liking). The thought of blanketly adoring every bit of Doctor Who because it's Doctor Who isn't even really earnest engagement, it's just brand worship, the type rightfully derided in the Jubilee audio. Same way I can love a person while not absolutely adoring everything they've ever done or said, we can love Doctor Who as a whole, and love certain types of Doctor Who, while not liking some things and eras underneath the "Doctor Who" umbrella. Not the place I'd expect to see Big Finish audios advertised, pretty interesting though. I really love Dark Eyes (not just vol 1 either), I think it plays much better if someone has the full context of the Charley and Lucie audios coming before it, but the thought of people getting into Big Finish through just Dark Eyes by itself is kinda neat.

I've often pondered that if I was showing someone else, or erasing my own mind and experiencing Doctor Who anew, whether the way to deal with McGann to Eccleston would be to, after McGann's movie, listen to McGann's audios up to the end of Dark Eyes 4, then go on to Rose/S1. Charley+Lucie+Dark Eyes audios are the best of McGann's audio era, leave the Time War stuff vague enough (since they didn't have the New Series license when doing Dark Eyes so they had to keep creative and deal with it more interestingly and vaguely) that S1 still works as having the Time War all fresh and new, give McGann a proper run (also makes Night of the Doctor more impactful), makes Night of the Doctor resonate more as you'd be familiar with all the companions he namedrops...........also Dark Eyes ends with a big character development, 8 maturing and dealing with death in a more hardened manner. Also leaves a nice ambiguous gap as to who the Doctor in the Time War was, which is the best way to experience RTD's era i m o, and keeps that distance of 8 not lining up directly with 9 right away (which I also think is really important for both their eras).

What's with all these GOAT Doctor Who writers who churn out nothing but great VNA/EDAs, but when they try to break out on their own they don't even make a whisper? Kate Orman hasn't done anything recently outside of Obverse work. Lloyd Rose disappeared. Lance Parkin is stuck doing Doctor Who history books. Even the writers who broke out on their own like Cornell haven't done anything as interesting as their Who books.
