I read the book. I can tell you that won't be the case. If you've ever heard how the Francos talk about the room and Tommy, you'll know it won't be that.

Cautiously optimistic. The book is a masterpiece - But I was nervous when I saw the casting (I don't think either Franco brother is quite right, and I don't think James has the chops to pull it off - should have been Tommy himself or Nic Cage) and I was DOUBLY nervous when I saw Franco would direct, given how awful his directing has been so far.

Greg mentions am insurance claim video Tommy showed him where Greg (inexplicably dressed in a white labcoat) acts as a material witness and vouches for Tommy's good character in relation to a fire (in which a man tragically died) that burnt down one of Tommy's buildings. Make of that what you will.
