And yet there were still multiple instances of henchman whipping out sidearms and shooting at Batman when it was convenient for Batman do save himself from the bullets. Why didn't everyone do that, immediately? Also, he could have just broken in the window behind MARTHA and saved her by taking out the 2 guys who were guarding her, instead of fighting a whole room filled with guys. Arkham Asylum/Arkham City as a duology are the best Batman adaptations by far. Nothing else has really gotten the atmosphere/tone of Batman right, IMO.

Origins was decent and had some good moments but was nowhere near the vidyakino Asylum and especially City were. I haven't played Arkham Knight yet but from what I read about it when it came out I'd rather just pretend it doesn't exist

Did he just not care? Because it makes absolutely no sense if you try to think about why the World Trade Center would be in Gotham. Gotham isn't literally NYC. Gotham never had the Twin Towers, and if they did does that mean 9/11 happened in Gotham? Why would terrorists attack Gotham? It was a shithole in 2001 according to the movie's timeline.

I wouldn't say that is 'literally every spidey comic' though. That's a generic spiderman origin story that would be used in a movie.
