Fuckin time travel paradoxes. The lodge spirits seem to be able to show up anywhere, any time, and always end up somehow prepared for shit even when they kinda get caught off guard at first. Maybe this is just the result of being able to infinitely time travel back to the beginning every time they fail. what a fucking mess. setting aside viewing it as a movie (which would make it even worse) and viewing it as something for the fans, it was so pointless, most of it was showing stuff we already know happened happen exactly how we knew they happened, and the new stuff went fucking no where. what was the point of the new agents if we're gonna just forget about them 30 minutes in?

This somehow allows some evil creature to spew out a bunch of stuff into our world one of which is the same looking thing taken from Boop that had Bob's face on it

Jump eleven years after the nuke testing to the same area where now these dark spirits roam around

Some weird locus frog creature is born (extreme religious symbolism as well signifying the sins of the father being passed onto the next generation which is how evil continues to exist)

One of the dark spirits goes to a radio station and kills the two people working there and begins to repeat an incantation to knock out anyone listening to it

This allows for the locusfrog to invest the young girl possibly making her another Lauraesque character.

Giant man gets a message about this where he lives and he becomes the spirit that would become Laura. Remember that Laura is the key to everything in Twin Peaks.
