His words "we live inside a dream" make some think the FBI building scenes in the movie are all just Coop dreaming while he's in the lodge, which would explain all the absurdities and why Cooper seems to know so much already about Laura. About the teleportation, we may just assume the lodge spirits were fucking with him, is he under their control? About Judy, all we know is that in early drafts of the script she's described as Josie's sister, but maybe that detail was dropped entirely

I haven't seen ANY ONE on YouTube or the internet mention the most striking detail about the Jerry Horne opening scene, (in my opinion), which is this:

Jerry is wearing a Hawaiian shirt, which is par for the course of Jerry's consistently awful wardrobe since Season 1. Garishly hued outfits, Texas Ties, and now the stereotypical stoner archetype in S3 -- Jerry Horne has run the gamut of eccentric fashion perhaps more than any other character in the series, which says quite a lot.

The shirt here isn't super ridiculous because it's faded, and not bright or vivid or new. Much like Jerry himself. He's old AF compared to how young and baby-faced he was 25 years ago. He's worse for wear. (No pun intended.) But his support of Dr. Jacoby's bizarre conspiracy informercial Orwellian broadcasts is the kicker. Basically Pete, I know you know the Secret History of Twin Peaks stuff, and if you recall Jacoby's portion of the dossier, (NADINE'S FILE!), where he explains his use of the blue and red tinted shades in an impressively, "I'll go along with it," sort of way. Jacoby concludes that it has worked wonders for him because he sees the world as it is, unlike many people that surround him. It's hard to read that stuff in Frost's book and NOT think about the saying about how people only see what they want to see by donning, "rose tinted glasses," etc.

Anyway, GREAT material. No video on these episodes can be too long, so I say start releasing videos that are as long as you want & are interested in making. You won't lose any viewers since your main demographic is Lynch fans -- people acclimated to being patient and knowing the devil, (read: payoff), is ALWAYS found in the details. Cheers.
