Why would you hire a dwarf assassin who is pretty much guaranteed to be recognized by police after like 3 hits? It's like hiring Andre the Giant and expecting people not to notice him walking around.

I mean if you're a cop and you hear about a dwarf assassin you're gonna tell all your friends and all the detectives have to do is look for cars retrofitted so that dwarves can drive them. if you're correct then the odds are it's referring to the fact that even with his mind back, Cooper will never be the same. he's now suddenly in his fifties, and everyone he used to know has plenty of reason to distrust him, some of them have reasons to hate him, and it's not really his fault. no matter what happens, Cooper can never be the same man again, and his life has been irrevocably changed.

I just wanted to say that I think the worst of it is finally fucking over. James is gone. Josie left the show. Hank looks like he's gone too. Finally we are cutting the chafe and it's getting interesting again.

I don't think these episodes every got truly "bad" except for I think S2 ep16 or 17 (Slaves and Masters) which might be the lamest episode yet, and the first I did not legitimately enjoy. The others felt like they had something going on in them at least.

I was invested enough in the characters to motivate me through the lame plotlines (Jean Renault getting punked so easily; Confederate Ben ending so abruptly and lazily), so some of it wasn't as bad as I had been led to believe.

The James plot though. The fact that it feels like most of Slaves and Masters is devoted to it (and its awful directing - why do we constantly see a super-imposed shot of Evelyn over the picture?) easily makes it the worst episode.

I don't know; either my standards for TV or lower or the show's characters are strong enough to hold my interest, even if some of their stories are not that interesting.
