Well she works in an office so I figure it's some sort of white collar crime. Maybe Dougie was planning to use this scheme to pay off his debts, but she wanted to cut him out of it. Then maybe the dwarf was hired by the guy at Dougie's office who he called a liar, and was scared of him revealing the plot. So he payed to have his two accomplices - Dougie and the woman - killed separately.

Guys, why is Lynch doing this for me? Twin Peaks is my favorite show of all time. It always has been since I watched through it the first time right after they announced the new season. All I wanted was classic Twin Peaks with damn good coffee and pie. Who are these characters supposed to be? Why is everybody just staring at each other? Why would they have Cooper be completely unlike himself for this long? Where is Annie? Where is Audrey? Where are Truman and the donuts? None of this makes a hoot of sense.
