Listen was a terrible episode riddled with plot holes.

Most of Moffats bullshit in everything after tennant is horribly directed with huge timeskips between significant events and nothing flows properly. Shit gets hamfistedly explained and leaves the viewer still questioning how shit works, where as in RTD's run everything is given a good bit of dialogue to keep the made up logic coherent at least.

I won't defend how retarded that episode in particular was, but i will defend RTD's run as a whole, because it's way more coherent as a whole and emphasizes the personality of tennant's doctor beautifully.

The show was more fun with him on, Moffat tries way too hard to engage the viewer by making it so fucking serious in a time and place where it's not warranted.

Capaldi's Doctor is completely ruined by Moffats bullshit.

Alright so 7 is inferior to 1 it seems everyone agrees that this is the case

I can live quite happily without the cheesiness of the RTD era, but if there's one thing I'll miss, it's the episodes that were legitimately scary in concept and execution. I haven't felt creeped out since episodes like water on mars, impossible planet and blink. Nothing in the Moffat era has achieved this for me, even though there have been some pretty good episodes such as heaven sent.

For another perspective, I was completely out. I remember walking from the waiting room into the operating dentist room thing. Woke up several hours later in my bed at home.
It was fine, I'd forget to take the pain medication though so I'd be lying in bed and all of a sudden it would be incredibly painful.
