It's a good show. More than enough to keep you engaged and it's very well shot, fairly well acted and the plot is constructed well and moves along at a good pace.

The main issue is the character motivations. 90% of the time I didn't feel sorry at all for Hannah Baker and much of what the 13 people on the tapes said made sense.

Her meeting with the school counselor being a big issue. He did nothing wrong and told her that he could do something if she just gave him a bit more information. Also she claimed she didn't say "no" to Bryce when she got raped, but she pretty clearly told him to stop. So shit like that doesn't add up.

I understand the idea that it's hard for a victim to come forward, but if she's willing to tell the counselor she got raped then why can't she just say who did it? Especially when the guy was saying they could potentially prosecute him if she told the whole story?

Despite how many problems I had with the character of Hannah and how much I believe she brought her issues on herself and was just as cruel to others as she thinks they were to her.
