chuck is right about jimmy not deserving to be a lawyer. jimmy got a high paying gig last season, and how did that work out? he'll never be able to walk the straight road, always taking shady shortcuts to achieve his goal. the biggest redpill is realizing that chuck is right about everything, including that jimmy should be disbarred before he does more damage to the people around him. it's already clear that he'll fuck up his relationship with kim eventually.

The reason Jimmy can't be a proper lawyer is only because of Chuck. Every time Jimmy comes close to being a legit, good lawyer like at the end of season 1 and halfway through season 2, Chuck fucks him over and doesn't give him a chance. In both situations Jimmy can't take this and ends up fucking himself over, but only because of Chucks interventions.

They always said they'd show Jimmy's story both before and after Breaking Bad, which is why they are already showing us scenes of that. Yes they are making it up as they go, they have shown to be very good with that in Breaking Bad so I don't see a reason why they shouldn't. In Vince's shows it actually seems like the whole story is connected and there aren't many loose ends, unlike many other shows that aren't made up along the way.
