Trash show. Nothing is surprising or interesting, characters are just stupid and 1-dimensional. Each episode commits 30-60% of running time to sex/romance scenes (porn). Based on the estimated size Essos should be rich in biomes and also be the continent with the most civilizations since the absence of all of that surface caused by Asia being fucking humongous creates fertile temperate forest regions that can be used to farm and shit.

Central Asia is a hard to live in because its mostly steppe due to vastness of Asia reducing moisture at the center of Asia.

If Westeros is that much smaller then the climate of the southern part of Essos makes no sense and that would even put the Sothoryos into the horse latitudes meaning the northern part would be mostly desert while the jungles would be far inland so the Sothoryos being mostly jungle stuff doesnt work.

Continents in real life are large masses of land not skinny pseudo British Isles like Westeros, Essos is also weirdly shape because its shaped like a bar and not just a chunk of land with a shitton of peninsulas like Asia.

Sothoryos is the only one that possibly looks like an actual continent.

First, again, this is very different. Raising against a mad liege lord is something that happens. Eddard could stab his Lord Commander at the wall if he's done something traitorous/going against the NW interests. But deserting is not the same at all.
